Located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in France, the Costa Del Porte house offers a breathtaking view of the Dordogne.
Completely renovated, carefully furnished and decorated, and fully equipped, it offers charming and very comfortable accommodations for 2 to 6 guests.
Outside, its lovely shaded courtyard with a dining area is ideal for relaxing after returning from the many excursions the surrounding area has to offer.
And from every angle, views, views, and more views!

Ideally located in the heart of one of the “most beautiful villages in France,” the Costa Del Porte house offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dordogne River winding below. No matter where you are in the house, you’ll never tire of marveling at such a beautiful sight that changes throughout the day and the seasons.
Recently renovated “from floor to ceiling,” tastefully furnished, and equipped with the utmost care, the house offers comfortable accommodations for 2 to 6 guests.
Upon returning from the many excursions available in the immediate vicinity, you’ll appreciate the coolness of its small garden, perfect for al fresco dining.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION:

Spanning four levels, the house features the following on the first floor:
- a superb living room with a magnificent view of the Dordogne River, with the castles of Feyrac and Castelnaud in plain sight. It is elegantly furnished with a corner sofa, coffee tables, and a large-screen TV. A cozy sitting area with a reading lamp and two antique armchairs is also at your disposal.
In the off-season, you’ll appreciate the charm and warmth of a small fire in the wood-burning stove.
- Adjacent to the living room, the kitchen is a key part of the house. Fully equipped (semi-professional gas stove, large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, pod coffee maker, toaster, kettle, deep fryer...), it has everything you need to prepare delicious local Périgord specialties sourced from nearby markets. Its large, unfinished wooden table and six chairs allow you to enjoy lunch indoors.
- The first double bedroom is located on the first floor, accessible via the grand wooden staircase. Utterly romantic, it is furnished with an Empire-style double bed, two nightstands, and a beautiful dresser.
- Adjacent to the bedroom, the first spacious bathroom features a tiled walk-in shower, an elegant vanity unit, and a toilet.
The second sleeping area is located on the terrace level, below the kitchen and living room.
The landing, which provides access to the dining terrace, leads to:
- A second spacious double bedroom features a new 160cm x 200cm bed, two nightstands, a large closet, a dresser, and a television. The view of the Dordogne River below is just as spectacular!
- A second bathroom, located on this level, features a beautiful tiled shower and a double-sink vanity.
- A separate toilet and a laundry area with a washing machine and ironing supplies complete this level.
Once again, a beautiful staircase leads to the garden level, where the last spacious double bedroom is located—particularly cool in the summer.
It is similarly furnished with a large double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), two nightstands, a small dresser, and a spacious dresser with a closet and shelves. It also features a charming balcony with, of course, the same view of the Dordogne as the other rooms in the house.
During the summer, the house stays nice and cool thanks to its thick stone walls.
In the winter, it’s very comfortable thanks to efficient electric central heating, a wood-burning stove, and double-paned windows.

Beautiful property. Challenging car access, so rent a small car. Worth the extra effort, though, as the house is beautiful, functions well and has a spectacular view from every river-facing window.

This property has qualities often obscured by deficiencies.There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Each is nicely appointed but the organization is difficult. There is no air conditioner/The house is medieval with an exceptional location and wonderful views of the Dordogne valley. Rooms are distributed on 4 floors with inconvenient distribution:a bedroom on the lower level requires climbing for each bathroom or toilet use, a second bedroom is on the next level with a shower and a toilet, nicely appointed living room and kitchen on the 3rd level, another bedroom and a shower/toilet arrangement on the 4th level. Here are a few problems:- the entry is at the level of the living/kitchen. The property manager indicates one can drive the car to the property, drop the luggage, turn and leave the car in one of the town's parking spaces. This is not easy to do if your car is larger than a tricycle.- daily trips by foot from the nearest parking to the property is a 10 min trip mostly on a steep road not easy even for full mobility people.- a TV is shown in one of the bedrooms, but it is not connected to anything. Not acceptable if more than one person occupies this 3-bedroom property.- the temperature stratifies in this narrow and tall house. During summertime upper bedroom is not usable and even the living room gets quite hot.
