With all living space on one easy-access level, this cottage is wonderfully suited for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. As you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy living area that seamlessly opens to the updated galley-style kitchen. Large windows allow you to enjoy views of the water from both spaces, whether you're curled up on the loveseat and armchairs, or preparing dinner in the comfort of a full-size gas stove and refrigerator. The property and views were amazing! The issue we had as a VRBO is that you're trying to gobble up some hotel customers (which you did) but I didn't feel like I was getting the hospitality of a hotel. I spent more money to stay at this location (my choice) but then had to turn around and find little things that should've been provided in my opinion like shower soap, conditioner, shampoo, coffee (there was a coffee maker and filters but no coffee) things to make my stay feel more like home. Think of how nice it would've been to wake up the morning after you arrive to have a fresh cup of coffee with the million dollar views....didn't experience that until we were there for a couple days and ran to the store in Brunswick. We tried to go to BIGS to grab these little things on a Sunday but they were closed (not controlled by you but an inconvenience). I would have expected these things to be provided for the price instead of me having to pack all of it and bring it from my house. These are the small things that would make the guest feel more at home when traveling.

Great location. Spectacular views. Quiet and relaxing. Watch the lobster boats, sailboats, and abundant birds from every room in the house plus the deck! Hunt for seaglass steps from the back door. Island was very quiet due to the time of the year, but it was just what the doctor ordered.

We had a very relaxing stay. The place is very clean and the bed is comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Giant Stairs and the general store. The views are wonderful from inside the cottage and outside on the porch and the beach. We watched the sunset every night.
