The perfect seaside retreat, The Bailey Island Condo is conveniently located on Bailey Island overlooking scenic Mackerel Cove, just a short walk away from public beaches, local stores, seafood restaurants, and all the beautiful sights and walking trails Harpswell has to offer including the historic Cribstone Bridge, the Giant Stairs, and Land's End. You'll love the stunning views from your deck, easy water access via the public beach and field at the head of the cove, and the ability to buy lobsters right off the wharf for the perfect Maine meal on your vacation!
Inside, you will find an open concept living, kitchen, and dining area with a fully stocked kitchen, flat-screen TV, and electric heat for chilly nights. Upstairs, you'll find a full bathroom and ocean view bedroom with stunning views of the cove and a sliding door opening to a balcony, the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea as you watch the sun rise over the peninsula.
Come to Bailey Island this summer and fall (to see the gorgeous foliage) and enjoy this wonderful condo right in the heart of the island and close to all this seaside community has to offer! Spend all day basking in the sun, go for a swim in the cove, launch your boat or kayak in the cove from the beach and explore the coast, take a walk to the local stores and restaurants, or take a drive to explore the surrounding coastal areas (Brunswick (15 min), Freeport (30 min), Portland (1hr), or Boothbay (1hr)) offering a variety of restaurants, stores, and activities. We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo in Maine. The property was exactly as pictured—no surprises, just what we hoped for. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Highly recommend! We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was beautifully styled, with lots of charming touches that made it feel like a cozy home away from home. We were provided with plenty of towels, which was a nice bonus, and the deck and balcony offered stunning views at any time of day—truly a highlight of our stay.
The location was ideal: there were multiple great places to eat nearby, offering a variety of dining options, but the area itself was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy, but we never felt overwhelmed by crowds or noise.
The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Their attention to detail and care really stood out.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this condo to any couple looking to experience the serenity and beauty of the area.
