I stayed at ARC Arenales Studios & Suites in the Recoleta area of Buenos Aires, and it was a very comfortable experience as a solo traveler.
The property is located in Recoleta, which is known for being one of the more established and well-maintained neighborhoods in the city. The area has a residential yet refined feel, with plenty of shops, cafés, pharmacies, and daily conveniences nearby. It felt organized and relatively calm compared to busier nightlife districts.
The hotel is also not far from Pueyrredón Station (Line D), making transportation convenient and allowing easy access to other parts of the city, including Palermo.
Safety was important to me, and I did not feel unsafe in this area, even as a solo traveler. The building itself has good security, which adds another layer of reassurance for guests concerned about safety.
The facilities are very clean and well-maintained, and there is also a gym, which was a nice bonus during my stay.
Overall, this is a great choice for travelers who value safety, cleanliness, and convenient access to public transportation, especially those staying alone in Buenos Aires.

I really like staying here! The location is QUIET because all the units face away from the not-busy street, and the apartments have everything needed to self cater and be comfortable.

The studio that my friend and I stayed in was perfectly fine, but it's not someplace I would stay again. For one, the doorman has to let you in and out. So, at one point, we wanted to leave the building, but we had to wait 5 or 10 minutes for the attendant to return. Not horrible, but not great.
The space was very clean and efficient, but for an apartment, it should be a bit better equipped. For example, we wanted to make breakfast. There are pots and pans, but no cooking oil or even salt and pepper. Not horrible, but certainly not great. Similarly, there's a balcony, but there aren't any chairs or anything.
A few small additions and the place would be superb. As it is, it's just fine.
