Nice, historic house. Loved the chess board table, hot tub, outside sitting areas, and the wood burning stove! Check in and check out were super easy.

Everything was great for our stay. Loved being close to downtown and Highland House was a wonderful place to start each day and wind down.

I'm not sure the pictures do this place justice! It was WAY more spacious than i thought. Very homey. So comfortable. We never turned on a TV, nor did we get a chance to use the hot tub. We plan to stay here again sometime, hopefully for a longer time so we can enjoy more of this house and the City of Dubuque.It snowed 6" overnight prior to our departure but somebody was out there bright and early shoveling the walk and the driveway so we could enjoy our coffee and get out safely and on time. Just another classy move by these thoughtful and communicative hosts.Great job, Tom & Jill!!

Beautiful home with great views of downtown. Great space for kids and grandkids and it was easy for my elderly dad to get into.
