About this docked boat rental
Come stay at our floating oasis on the backwaters of the Mississippi river! This 70 foot houseboat is newly remodeled and ready for you and your guests. It features a custom kitchen, a master bedroom with a full bed and a tv, a bunkhouse room with a full bed, and a basement bedroom with 2 full beds. The living room has a trundle couch that turns into a king-size bed. We also have a full size air mattress.
The boat is located at Millennium Marina.
You will have to walk on a dock to get to the boat. Things are a little different than a typical "home", but its super fun! The roof may NOT be accessible at all times of the year (like when it is super cold, raining, or snowing). If there is ANY snow at all, we ask you DO NOT go on the roof, as it can be dangerous.
NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED AT THIS TIME.
We provide a coffee maker, toaster, stove, oven, and other kitchen items. We also provide one towel per person, and all bed linens (sheets and one cotton blanket per bed).
The 70 ft roof is equipped with a bar and outdoor furniture. Remember, you are DIRECTLY on water, so you WILL see bugs and other wildlife.
We also have boat slips available by the night or by the week. One uncovered slip is provided with your rental. We provide a coffee maker, toaster, stove, oven, and other kitchen items.

This means that sometimes swimming is not possible because the water will be so low. This includes not being able to use the slide. Also, sometimes you cannot get your boat into our marina due to low water. If you plan on bringing a boat, please ask us if the water is deep enough. Kayak rentals available from the restaurant on property, when they are in season. You get one free hour kayak rental for all registered guests (you can always ask about your specific time if interested in kayaks). Please ask about current restaurant hours if this amenity is important for you.
PLEASE NOTE- We are located on the Mississippi and WE DO FLOOD. We might have to cancel the reservation if flooding is in the forecast. The cabin will stay in the water year round! SWIMMING NOT ADVISED unless you understand the river and swim at your own risk.

2 ski resorts are only a short drive away!
We are located directly on the river, so at night you might see some bugs. This is a steel bottom houseboat so you might hear the water hitting the sides. Again, this boat does NOT move.

ALSO NOTE- With the boat being directly on the water, there are sometimes bugs. Not inside the boat, but yes you WILL see them outside. We do clean it thoroughly, but they pop up.
No parties or events allowed. Quiet time is 10 PM. Please respect our neighbors. SWIMMING IS 100% AT YOUR OWN RISK.

My husband any myself stayed with another couple and it was great but the beds were not idea for our age as they were on the floor. A family/kids would have been great with it. We didn't notice that in our review before booking so that is on us.

The whole family enjoyed our stay on this houseboat. We were looking for something unique and we found it. The kids loved everything about the boat and the surrounding area. The adults loved the views and the nearby restaurant. The kitchen was well stocked and there were many personal touches at check-in. Our only note to seniors and young children is that there are many stairs to navigate.

This place is great at a high level, but i think i wouldve been upset had we paid full price. There is a lot of neglected maintenence that is needed....half the lights on the deck were out (from a broken bulb), one chair on the deck was also barely suitable for use. One of the bathroom doors was broken off with screws lying on the ground (which of course, my one year old found). The razor of the "complimentary" bathroom items had hair in it. They have the wrong coffee filters for the type of coffee maker, causing a ton of grounds. The worst thing was that it smelled like a porta potty BAD the whole trip. Im not sure what that is about but it was vile. A few tips for the owners beyond that are that the back deck that the stairs are on is metal and you will burn the heck out of your feet in half a second if you step on it. The bedrooms are full light or nothing, nothing for mellowing out and laying down. They also dont have the same views as pictured.Overall set up is great, loved the concept, but was very disappointed in the maintenance and care. No one or place is perfect, but i have no idea how some of these things were not noticed or addressed. Especially the smell and the bathroom door handle. Bathrooms themselves were clean though!

Our stay on Miss Milly was so awesome! The beds were super comfy, if was clean and updated, the view was fabulous and the hosts were so accommodating! Great communication too! The family enjoyed lots of fishing and games on the upper deck. We hope to visit again!!!
