Our stay at the AlmaLusa Baixa & Chiado in Lisbon was overall a very enjoyable experience. The hotel’s location is outstanding — centrally located with virtually everything within walking distance, making it the perfect base to explore the city’s historic neighborhoods, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.
The rooms were modern, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, creating a relaxing atmosphere after long days of sightseeing. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar area, which added to the boutique luxury feel of the property.
Our only criticism involved the front desk staff upon arrival. We arrived several hours before official check-in, fully understanding that our room might not yet be ready. However, we were disappointed by the lack of effort, warmth, and hospitality shown during that interaction. A little flexibility or simply a more welcoming attitude would have gone a long way.
That said, the excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and overall charm of the hotel still made for a very positive stay in Lisbon.

Very nice spot, well located. Didn’t get a chance to try breakfast, but had dinner in their restaurant and it was very good. Highly recommend!
