    The ryokan is very near Yasukawacho-cho bus stop that the Nikko buses would pass by. It’s also walking distance from the heritage sites. Booked the ryokan with dinner and breakfast, it was wonderful. The hot springs were amazing. There is an outdoor bath with a small hot spring, it was great in the chilly autumn evenings. We had a room with the lake view, it was beautiful. I highly recommend this ryokan, and would come back again.

    We stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful experience. This is a traditional Japanese hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere and a nice opportunity to experience Japanese hospitality. The service was excellent—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The food was also very good, with well-prepared traditional Japanese dishes and plenty of variety. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and authentic Japanese stay. We would definitely consider coming back again.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this traditional inn. As shown in the photos, the day room is transformed into the night room whilst guests are at dinner. By Japanese standards, the rooms are large and well-kept. The inn has its own public bathrooms - with a leaflet in the room explaining the rules. Dinner, as shown in the photo, is served - as well as breakfast. Both are traditional in nature and are worth exploring.
