Ignore the star rating, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We selected the hotel based on the quality of the reviews and they are all justified.
It is a beautiful hotel perched on the hillside over looking the Caldera and the whole island. The view is stunning. The hotel has great staff who are extremely helpful and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable, well equipped and from what we could see all have amazing views.
It is not for those who want to be in the ‘thick of it’, although it is an oasis of calm compared to overcrowded tourist hotspots of Fira and Oia. The staff will take you by car (and pick you up) to local restaurants, although it is only a 15 minute picturesque walk to the centre Akrotiri (although is a bit of climb on the way back).
Brilliant hotel we will come back, thank you for a wonderful stay.
