Relax in the cozy living room around the stone gas fireplace or step onto the screened porch for peaceful outdoor dining. Whether you're cooking a gourmet meal or unwinding after a day on the lake, Hilltop Lodge combines upscale comfort with stunning woodland and water views.

This home has its own private boat dock on Lake James. The owner has a boat and a jet ski permanently docked, but there is an available spot for a guest boat and an additional jet ski. If interested in renting a boat during your stay, please contact Lake James Marina or Noah's Landing. Boats cannot be launched from the property, so guests should plan to use one of the nearby public boat ramps on Lake James. While the home provides access to Lake James, it does NOT offer access to Camp Lake James amenities.

Hilltop was the perfect place for our getaway. We were able to invite our previous neighbors from FL who now live in Hayesville,NC to join us. We were familiar with the area as our family members own a home in the neighborhood. The home was well stocked with cooking supplies and very spacious and cozy.

Great time with family. The accommodations were as wonderful as advertised. I would however, caution older folks to be aware that it’s a long and steep trail to the dock but well worth the trip.

Love this property and Greybeard rentals. The property was beautiful, the location and lake were perfect. Greybeard was so easy to work with and treated us so well. We definitely hope to be back!

Beautiful home! Amazing setup at the lake with the upper covered dock and the lower floating dock. Space was perfect and home well equipped!
