The couple that runs it were great, really friendly, and served a nice breakfast for us! The view from our room was amazing!

The view was amazing. We had a room with a small balcony that when we woke up in the morning, it took our breath away. This property has character and what one would imagine it would have been like to travel years ago and I say that in a really positive way. It is like a time capsule.
I liked everything about the property if if you are looking for a realistic experience of a facility where the husband and wife have been running it for 45+ years this is it. We had read a review that the location is right on a busy road. Well, of course it is because it’s right on the lake above but the view is brilliant. Yes, there are vehicles but a place has been here for over 100 years so when it was originally built that made sense.

Everything was perfect. The room, people, place. The staff are very nice and helpful people. The view from the hotel was also perfect.
Also Easy access to Interlaken, Grindelwald, via bus.
Nothing to dislike

Lovely views from the lake-side view windows and from the breakfast room (breakfast was included). Also nice little garden. Easy to find; safe and free parking, and using the local buses made it easy to get into town.
Quite expensive for the room quality, which was basic. But the Interlaken area has crazy pricing.
