Amazing view of lake Como from our room. Great on-site restaurants & bar at the hotel. There is also a beautiful garden for hotel guests to read & relax.

The staff was unbelievable. So sweet and helpful. We were supposed to stay one night and extended a second. There is a super cute area that is walking distance. The hotel is quiet and beautiful. The restaurants and views are amazing. Renting a boat around the area is also super easy. 10/10! Oh and they are kid and dog friendly. The only thing is I wish the pool was better positioned but whatever.

The property is located along the lake with a beautiful walking path. There is a walking path down to this area. The rooms are very clean with soft linen and comfortable beds. However, the bathrooms could use a little attention. The Expedia description of transfers included is not correct. It’s a good walk from the train station or a taxi will cost €15-20. The breakfast was a beautiful selection of pastries, fruits, cheeses, bread and cold meats. Perfect way to start the day!

My wife and I had the most amazing stay for her birthday recently. This hotel is stunning, the area is so tranquil, the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. The views over the lake are breathtaking and I’m already desperate to go back and visit again!

This unique hotel is located on beautiful grounds overlooking Lake Como. Very friendly and helpful staff also. Six of us traveling together on our way to Bormio for a week of ski touring very much enjoyed our relaxing stay here.

Francesca was absolutely amazing! She was anbai to answer all of our questions and arranged transportation for us when it was needed. The hotels itself was stunning with the most beautiful view of Lake Como.

What a beautiful hotel! We loved how modern it was and the views from our rooms and garden. The staff were lovely and helpful, Breakfast was amazing - mostly self serve with lots of choices (bread, cheeses, meat, fruit, yogurt, cereal etc), and Elisa also brought us all kinds of other goodies like fresh melon, pineapple, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, plus fresh-squeezed OJ and coffee to order. It was truly awesome! The grounds were spacious with lots of places to sit. We walked into Lecco to get the ferry to Bellagio one day (easy 20-25-minute walk) and the train to Varenna another day. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return someday. This hotel is a hidden gem!

Property is in a nice location of Locco, with perfect views of the lake, our room literally had a stunning view from our bed. Only approx 20min walk from the centre of Locco where there is shopping and train station. On train less than hour to Milan and 20 mins (quick train) to the stunning Verrena. Hotel is peaceful and staff are polite and accommodating. Only criticism, both nights I could hear loud techno music which started around 1.30/2am which must have been from a club nearby

It was a nice stay at Casa Albero. I booked the room with the lake view that was stunning, you simply wake up to a beautiful scene. The location is perfect, almost 20 min easy walk on the lake to reach Lecco's center. The breakfast was simple but perfect. There were only a couple of issues, firstly the wifi connection was weak and I kept getting disconnected, which was a bit annoying. The second issue was not having drinking water in the room, we only had two bottles of drinking water in the room upon arrival but not on the following days.

The gardens and surrounding green spaces were beautiful, offering a wonderful view of the lake. We also enjoyed the ability to buy wine on site (and having trust that they were good wines!) to enjoy in the gardens. The room was clean, again offering a beautiful view, cosy and warm.

We were on a family vacation there for 8 days. The location was perfect with great view to Lake Como. The staff was very friendly any helpful. The room was quite small for two person. As we experienced if you rest there 2-3 days it's OK. But for longer time not so comfortable. The breakfast was OK. There are lots of restaurants within 5km, so you can always choose a great one for dinner.

When you approach the hotel for the first time it does have the wow factor, but all the fancy design work externally does not translate internally. The rooms are on the small size with very limited space for storing clothes and baggage. We paid for an upgraded room with a garden view, but unfortunately due to the design of the building, outside our room door was the staircase leading down to the honesty kitchen and breakfast area with no other doors inbetween. As such, from the room you could hear everything going on down there including the setup for breakfast at 6am. DON'T PAY FOR THE UPGRADED ROOMS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WOKEN UP AT 6AM EVERY MORNING! The hotel moved us to a standard smaller room in another block which was quieter but no offer of reduced room price was offered. Also keep an eye out for breakfast, we (naively) assumed breakfast was included and no members of staff told us otherwise and that stung us €15 per person per day (absolute rip off). The majority of staff were nice and the hotel has a lot of potential. It's just been poorly executed.

Its a new style of Hotel - clean and once in the grounds very nice. Parking is on the road in a small adjacent car park so larger vehicles struggle a little.The breakfast is a little sparse... the self service coffee [none in rooms] and wine super expensive - The restaurant was a super long walk thorough the garden and into another hotel - over many flights of stairs.. so a little tough with kids. Pool is tiny. The walk on the promenade on the far side of the hotel is very nice - If in the area now I know the ropes would stay again. Gray
