We only stayed in this area for one night before we traveled to Baru. We regret not having more time to explore. The hotel is gorgeous with a great restaurant, roof top pools and comfy beds. Everything you need in a hotel but to add to the facilities, you step outside to immediately be met with life in full swing outside their walls. The location was wonderful. We loved walking to their parks, seeing murals and artist on every corner and eating street food in the square.
The staff was extremely helpful with an English speaker that knows basic Spanish.

The price is outrageous, the room is tiny, the bathroom is a joke—you couldn't find anything smaller, inconvenient, and poorly done! The toilet seat is broken, and I'm sure it's been like that for a long time, so it shows a lack of attention to detail and care on the part of the staff before offering a room like this. The floor in my room was always wet; there was water on the floor all the time without any explanation. Again, a lack of care, repairs, and inspections of their facilities. The second floor is extremely noisy because it's below the rooftop bar, which has music until late, and in the morning, from 6:00 AM, the staff start working from there. It's impossible to sleep with the noise above you. The hotel is very nicely decorated; it's a place to take pictures, but not worth paying the exorbitant price they're asking for their rooms…

The hotel in itself is nicely decorated, like the lobby, the breakfast areas, and the rooftop. But I had some serious issues where management and maintance was unacceptable.
TLDR; I didn't have hot water to shower for 3 days! Staff was slow to elevate the issue, maintance first attempt to fix didn't work and management instead of taking a 5-start hotel attitude would simply blame their staff. Very unprofessional, a waist of time dealing with it, and couldn't shower with hot water.
