Perfect distance from the fjord line ferry for our overnight stay.

Located close to those cozy streets in the city center and close enough to the university and Utzon Center.

Good hotel and location with fab staff.

Room was all good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extensive and good quality. Location by the river was good and a 10/15 min walk into the city.

Beware that parking is paid for on an app and regularly policed for overstays - which is fully explained and not a problem otherwise.

Great Breakfast, Clean Room on City's Edge

I liked the breakfast, that the hotel is non-profit, and its cleanliness. The room has well-placed outlets and side tables, and it was the first room we've had that had an actual double bed, not just two mattresses smooshed together.

The location was a disappointment. It was about a mile to the part of the city with the interesting attractions. It's more on the outskirts of the city. They also didn't explain how to get a flat rate on the parking, and I only discovered that something was amiss because I speak some Danish. No instructions were given in English until I asked about it. The room numbering system is confusing at first, as room numbers don't correspond to floors.

Breakfast, though of quality lacks diversity, dishes are repetitive, and this becomes obvious for anyone staying for more than 2-3 days.

Great hotel for a 1 or 2-day stay in Aalborg's vibrant city center.

Excellent location in theheart of Aalborg. Plenty of parking spaces below and in front of the building. Room was good: nice and clean bathroom, excellent bed and even a nice little balcony.... Staff and breakfast were fine. Nothing special, but sufficient. Location is perfect for a stroll through the centre of Aalborg with it's nice car-free center, plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and an inviting young, urban, creative atmosphere!

It's not possibloe to reserve a parking spot, which would be reassuring before driving the (fully loaded) car to Aalborg's city center during a holidat stop-over.

Fantastic hotel - clean, modern with comfortable beds and breakfast was superb! Lovely welcoming staff on arrival. Location was superb with parking and close to everything in Aalborg. We loved it!

Not a great experience

As we are a family of 5 we stayed in the apartment On arrival check in was good and first impressions of the size of the apartment and location were good.

The apartment was really hot when we arrived, a couple of fans were provided but didn't make much difference. The apartment itself was at street level with big windows in all the rooms with only office style blinds for privacy. It felt pretty odd to have people walking past at street level able to see into the rooms. There is a kitchenette that is very small, especially when considering the size of the rest of the apartment. There was a two ring hob, fridge and microwave but there was not enough equipment to properly cook anything there if you had wanted to. Breakfast was also a disappointment, we didn't eat until 8am so I appreciate this is a busy time but it was a small area for the buffet breakfast and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The options available weren't great either, for what appears to be a family type hotel there weren't many child friendly options. All in all we were glad we were only staying for one night and we wouldn't look to stay again.

Conference trip in Aalborg!

I loved the simplicity of this hotel. However, the room was fully comfortable and exceeded my expectations! The staff was kind, and they were willing to serve. Also, the breakfast was great!

The only thing that someone may dislike in this hotel is the fact that it is not at the center of Aalborg. The center is about 10 minutes walking. So if you like walking, as I do, this is not a problem at all!

Tidy, cozy, friendly and helpful staff, overall a nice stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some miniature ships on display in the lounge, and the hotel seems to have a maritime theme going on. The room had light switches like in normal apartments, which I appreciate, because I didn't need to play around with the door card to get some random lighting like in other hotels that use the card system. In the morning, I heard they had gluten-free options at the restaurant downstairs (but needed to be told in advance, so they could prepare).

Not sure about rooms with multiple beds, but mine didn't have shampoo and a hair dryer. I remember the ad was saying there should be some, but maybe I'm wrong. Not the end of the world, though :)
