Good for a few nights, but the sofa bed wasn’t comfortable

The location was good and it was fairly quiet. Will still recommend this place if you want to stay a few nights in the Belgian Ardennes.

The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Personally, I’d much rather have a good bed in a studio when you also have a dining table with chairs, then a sofa to sit on. The plug thing for the sink also doesn’t work at all, so when doing the dishes, the water doesn’t stay in the sink.

Dirty place and unhelpful host

It was close to Durbuy

Filthy place and an absolute scam! I came here with my parents hoping to get some peace and quiet close to nature! It turned out to be a disaster! 1. The place was teeming with flies and when we complained to the manager he said that we should expect flies because it’s a warm winter and that we should be driving them out! 2. You need to bring your own sheets, but the bare bed and pillow underneath was filthy with hair strands and dead insects. 3. The shower wasn’t working! The manager casually indicated that these things happen and if we need more comfort, we should pay more for a nicer place. We had paid 300€ for 2 nights! 4. They make you pay 250€ as a deposit and charge you for your energy consumption. I’ve never seen something like this before. If you book through booking.com, it is mentioned on the site, but you need to look for it! We ended up leaving after 1 night because the manger was unhelpful and the flies were really bothering us. It felt like we were living in a garbage dump. We will NEVER go back here and would urge everyone to avoid this place.

I liked - the fireplace - the size of the apartment - kitchen facilities

It was not possible to get normal temperature in the shower. Th temperature was constantly changing from too cold to too hot. I could not give a short to my kids.

Nice location and friendly staff

Location is very nice, staff was friendly and helpful, house itself was nice. Lot of nice activities to do close by for different age groups

There are rules that you should not make a lot of noise and disturb other guests after 10 pm, but there were a bunch of people making a lot of noise at night ( around 3 am) and not sure if this is something happening often or it was a 1 time thing. There was just 1 garbishbag, little toilet paper and not enough stuff to clean the house which is a condition when you want your deposit back.

The worst value for money experience in years. I would never recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The surroundings are beautiful, family friendly place, nice walks, great sceneries.

Awful furniture, with destroyed edges, the shower room very filthy, mold on the tiles, no air freshener in the toilets. There was a rusty heater from maybe the 1970s in the shower room, just disgusting. All in all the facilities were a big disappointment! Be prepared to check your electricity consumption and read the counters at the beginning and the end of your stay.

Location is beautiful, silent surroundings. Close to Durbuy and lots of other small villages, walking trails. Houses are spacious.

For a stunning €70 cleaningcosts it was NOT clean. Place smells very badly. Outdated furniture and housing needs some renovation. You need to pay for electricity separately. AND I still haven’t got my deposit (€100) back after 2 weeks.

Expensive for the age and state of the houses, also the house was not properly cleaned (hairs in bed from previous people and spiderwebs everywhere) even though they charge extra for everything, from the Electra to the sheets to the towels. Example, the free WiFi doesn't work in your room so no chance of watching a Netflix movie in bed.

very poor accommodation!

some of the apartments in this compound are not easily accessible with a car. we had to carry heavy suitcases through a lot of stairs. for old people (or families with kids) its a nightmare. very difficult to notice the apartment's numbers when you arrive at night. no light whatsoever on the numbers... the apartment was very very dirty. broken walls, broken window shades, ugly mud and dirt under the living room carpet, broken door handles, and more... one of the kids was locked inside the bathroom because the mechanism was broken. the receptionist was very unpleasant. according to him the booking was not including cleaning fee (90 EUR), and not electricity and gas... he wouldn't even consider changing the room or anything. unfortunately, in the booking process via booking.com , you do NOT get any notification of these fees. only in a letter we got AFTER the reservation, (and which was sent by the compound couple of days later), it is mentioned. so be careful NOT to book this accommodation without cancellation option. in the first and second night, the tenants below us were playing very loud music and shouting like drunks! although the house rules state "Quite Hours" between 22:00-08:00, no one was in the reception to do anything.. eventually i went to ask these drunks to stop the noise (at 01:30!... ). they continued until 02:00... the day later, the receptionist told me they can do nothing, and that i should call the police... yeah, right!... i am on vacation... not gonna look for a police station at 01:00! All in all - i do not recommend this place to anyone!

Extrêmement décevant .. même pas un geste .. un we de Noël

Le week-end de Noël, nous avons été contraints de déménager nos affaires en pleine soirée pour déménager dans un autre centre de vacances, car les locataires précédents avaient volé le boiler que le service de nettoyage n’avait donc pas remarqué avant que l’on arrive. Ont-ils donc bien nettoyé avant qu’on arrive ? Nous avons demandé une compensation par rapport aux frais de consommation d’électricité qui, pour deux nuits s élevaient à 85 €. Malheureusement, ils ont refusé de nous offrir cela. Nous avions loué un appartement avec un feu ouvert où nous avons apporté nos propres bûches pour se retrouver dans un chalet dans un état pitoyable sans feu ouvert et une chambre sans chauffage. Nous pensions qu’ils allaient user d’indulgence, donc nous leur avons laissé les bûches… nous nous sommes trompés. Nous sommes donc fort déçus. Nous étions en famille avec une Mamy très fragile.

Leuk maar niet nog een keer

De ligging was ideaal. Het 2 persoons masterbed was heerlijk. Huisje zelf opzich goed schoon gemaakt wordt.

Tijdens het opmaken van het bed kwam ik erachter dat 1 bed doorgezakt was van de 2 losstaande beddenen ze deze hebben opgelost met een opgevouwen reis babybed matrasje. Huisje was moeilijk warm te krijgen helaas wus kachel heeft 2 dagen geduurd. Op sommige plekken hier en daar schimmel.

Ruimte van de studio en op loopafstand van Durbuy en andere activiteiten

Rook naar muf (hond) en ruimte was veel te vochtig kregen niks droog. Daarnaast 35 cent per kilowattuur is gewoon winst maken op je stroom vind ik ronduit belachelijk

De omgeving was prachtig en maakte veel goed.

Ruim opgezet, slaapkamers groot genoeg en 2 douches, gemakkelijk parkeren en rustige omgeving.

Hygiene heel slecht !!! Schimmel aan het plafond, verf die afbladderd, verstopte afvoer, vieze matrassen.

Ik miste een stofzuiger. Schuifpui aan vervanging toe, zeer zwaar te openen zelfs niet na behandeling met W40

Microgolf stuk ( vlam bij ‘t opzetten), grill stand werkte wel ! Zetels zitten zeer slecht aan vervanging toe ! Trap naar de chalet, zeer oneffen, gevaarlijk om te vallen ! Had zetelbed verwacht zoals op de beschrijving, ipv. Van stapelbedden ! Speeltuin ??? Spijtig ook niets van winkeltje, waar je desnoods de dag er voor brood zou kunnen bestellen ! Kon niemand bereiken, om melding te maken van microgolf, voormiddag niemand aan de lijn te krijgen ! Vóór 12 u. Melden ??? Spijtig !

Mooie locatie. Rustig, maar toch dicht bij Durbuy. Prachtige omgeving, wandelingen vanaf het park mogelijk. Aardige man achter de balie en een snelle service om kapotte zaken te repareren (wel omdat de techneut toevallig langs liep).

Er waren een aantal zaken kapot bij onze aankomst, een stoel in de woonkamer was doorgezakt. Een tafel op het terrras was ingestort. Een bezemsteel die nog maar voor de helft bestond en zo nog wat kleinere zaken. Ook was het er niet erg schoon.

Perfect in orde om met vrienden heen te gaan. Veel comfort is er niet, maar voor ons dik in orde!

Het was erg rustig. Voor een groep vrienden waren de huisjes ideaal. Terras was ook fijn.

Bepaald meubilair en apparatuur was in slechte staat. Deze kunnen een update gebruiken.
