Hotel need a freshen up. Wall paper peeling in the entrance. Entering the room there was a very heavy room freshener smell. Room carpet needs replacing. Bathroom needs a total remodel. Breakfast was a let down. Staff was pleasant.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was unacceptable. The bathroom had visible mold, which is not only unpleasant but a serious health concern. The carpet was stained throughout the room, giving the entire space a dirty, neglected feel. Worst of all, the sheets were not clean, which is the bare minimum any guest should be able to expect. For the price and the reputation this property claims to have, the level of cleanliness was extremely disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues immediately, because as it stands, I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I will be requesting a refund

They refused to give me the room I booked because I booked through a 3rd party and I had to purchase a second room. Toilets ran all night, stains on the carpet and the place smelled.

I was wondering why this was the only place with availability. Never in my life did I think I’d pay over $500 a night for a crappy room at the comfort inn. I should’ve been clued in with the scotch tape holding the wallpaper up in the hallway. If you’re going to price gouge on a busy IU weekend, don’t make me feel like I have to get a penicillin shot after leaving.

This hotel was in terrible condition. It was very run down and the rooms were not clean. The sink in the bathroom would not drain and the toilet barely flushed. I was moving my youngest son to Indiana University and stayed here for 3 nights. I had to pay $400/night for this hotel which was in totally unacceptable condition. I will never stay at this hotel again. I am extremely disappointed in my stay.

Inside room doors Tv and furniture everything is very old. They may fall apart anytime. Carpet was so dirty and not maintained well. You can count on breakfast at all. Staff was ok though.

Stay away from this place. Worst hotel ever. The place was dirty, sheets and comforter didn’t look clean, carpet was old & dirty with stains on it. Worst part was the sink faucet in the bathroom didn’t work with no water coming out. The tub wouldn’t drain when taking shower and had standing dirty water. Phone, clock in the room didn’t work either.

The lady working at 5pm Friday June 20th at the front desk was very nice and got us checked in quickly. The hallways to our room smelled very good and clean. Our room was perfect. Very comfortable bed. Good tv channel's including 3 HBO and Cinemax. Breakfast was so good. Hot and cold selections at no extra price. This is our 5th time staying here through the last couple of years. Even though softball is ending for my daughter. If anyone ask or I need to stay in Bloomington again. This will always be my first and only choice.

Multiple, filthy--even sticky!--carpet stains throughout the room. Sink faucet handles loose and floppy. Shower didn't drain, and water was barely warm. Laundry carts strewn about just outside the lobby, with wash cloths on the floor, looking like they'd been forsaken there a month. This is a sad, disgusting, and neglected hotel.

During check-in we were charged $150 for a deposit, which was more than the room. This still would have been okay except our friend who also checked in the same day was not charged a deposit. When going into the room, it looked okay but smelled a little old or damp. We barely stayed in the room but when it started raining we returned to find a piece of the ceiling leaking.

My room had a mildew odor. The A/C only worked on Auto and to turn it on i had to lower the degree to 64. No entry light the bulb wasn't replaced no water pressure in the shower i had to fill the tube. For a 2 star hotel seem they content. No effort to become a 3, 4 or 5 star. Hotel. Terrible from start to finish. Check In - awful, took 25 minutes. Lobby smelled terrible and the hallway to the room even worse. Room was musty but OK. Drain in shower clogged. Toilet didn't work very well. Ice Machine broken on my floor. Check out was a nightmare and the attendant could not give me a receipt. I travel across the globe frequently from Motel 6s to the Ritz. I think the price value relationship was abhorent. Hotels.com should consider dropping them.
