Saint George Hotel

So we travel a fair bit and this was one of our favorite stays in Europe. As usual I will set out my likes and my recommendations for the establishment. Cons/ Recommendations: The location is somewhat remote. You will need to limit yourself a few properties or rent a car. The beach towels are swapped out at reception which is not easy to get to which it dont understand. Put baskets by the pool. Keep more removable beach umbrellas on hand and a staff member to put them up and bring them down. Bylaws restrict the number of permanent umbrellas but no reason why your guest with a baby was sitting in the sun. The kitchen menu needs updating to be a true a five star ratings. There were great dishes and things like frozen chicken fingers on the adult menu. It takes away from the experience. It would not take much to prepare and flash freeze breaded chicken stips once a week. I would encourage the owners to bring in more and better fruit such as fish, peaches etc. It remains above average and we had some exceptional meals here. The pros go on and on. Tons of white marble. The facilities, pool, view and staff were amazing. The beach is perhaps top 2 beaches I've been too. Just gorgeous. The photos accurately reflect the property. It may actually be nicer than the photos. Order the fresh fish. You won't regret it! Great family suites. Very clean. Good vibe and reasonable prices. I will be back to visit for sure. This is an all 5s for me.
