Casa Donna Rosaria tra Etna e Taormina

This is an extraordinary place to stay for a number of reasons. Foremost, if you are interested in coming here, it’s likely that the location between Etna and the sea, is an important draw. The views from this apartment are literally breathtaking. They are the best we’ve seen, and we come here a lot. Further, the accommodations are great. The beds are comfortable, there are a couple of bathrooms, and the kitchen is a perfect size for a vacation home. It is thoughtfully equipped and importantly the table is flexible, seating anywhere from 2 to 10 as you need. Last but certainly not least, the hostess, Donna Rosaria is a peach. She takes great care of the place and she is thoughtful and responsive. As an example, when I left the keys in the apartment, she cheerfully helped me get back in and even drove me back to where I wanted to be, once the keys were retrieved. Always with a smile and a cheerful word. The world hasn’t truly discovered this beautiful area; it’s attention is on Taormina a few kilometers north. Until it does, you can delight in the folksy, friendly nature of Giarre/Riposto for a fraction of the price, and I have found no better spot than this place, despite having looked!

Sometimes the hot water was uneven.

The apartment was spotless and in a great location. Two fabulous balconies with such different stunning views. Everything had been thought of including a 'welcome' pack which was a nice touch.

Einfach nur WOW! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, die Aussicht zu beiden Seiten ein absoluter Traum und alles ist sehr sauber (wir waren schon oft in Italien und auch auf Sizilien, beste Wohnung bisher)! Neben dieser tollen Location ist Rosaria, die Vermieterin, ein absolutes Highlight! Angefangen bei einer ganz tollen Begrüßung hat sie uns den ganzen Aufenthalt Mega Tipps gegeben (Restaurants und Ausflüge). Parken kann man auch problemlos auf der Straße direkt an der Wohnung! wir kommen definitiv wieder

Es war alles perfekt

A lovely warm welcome from Rosaria made us immediately feel at home. This is a fabulous large apartment , well equipped with everything you could need for a short or long stay. All super clean with so many detailed touches. The two balconies look straight towards Etna and the sea, and it is just a few minutes walk to the station, so could not be better placed. Very comfortable and cosy, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Thank you Rosaria!
