    We found Whitesands due to other accommodation issues with no research at in need of urgent accommodation. And it was perfect. I would not stay elsewhere next time I'm in Waikiki. Location is awesome. Pool and spa were perfect, especially after the marathon. Bar staff were so friendly and fun! Love the place. And will definitely be back.

    We flew to honolulu after our wedding in Vegas. It was amazing. Great location about 12 mins from airport. Great beaches about 5 mins from hotel. Valet parking and the coffee and complimentary slushes were great. Staff couldn't do enough.

    I stayed at the White Sands Hotel in Waikiki, Honolulu, and it is honestly one of the best locations you can choose when staying in the area. It is only about a 20 minute drive from the airport and an Uber costs roughly USD 30, which makes getting there very easy and stress free. The rooms and the welcome experience were excellent. The staff were friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. One staff member who really stood out was Ms. Kennedy, the night auditor. Her energy and kindness felt very authentic and truly reflected the real island spirit. She went out of her way to help me during my stay. One night, when I went out around 11 pm looking for food and could not find anything, she kindly gave me an extra box of amazing pineapple flavoured cookies that are made in Hawaii. If you stay at White Sands, I strongly recommend asking for the pineapple flavour cookies because they are the best pineapple flavoured cookies I have ever eaten. I would honestly rate them 10 out of 10. This was also recommended by Kennedy, and I am very grateful. I normally do not use hotel provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that their products were vegan friendly, organic, and not tested on animals. I liked the body lotion so much that I asked for an extra one, and it was so good, I had a little laugh about it. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I stayed in Room ***, and the only small issue was that the refrigerator motor made a loud noise and could possibly be replaced. But honestly, the central location, the great service, the cleanliness, and the incredible staff made that minor issue feel completely irrelevant. The hotel is very close to the beach, shopping centres, and major tourist spots, and it is also very affordable. Most importantly, the area felt very safe. I felt comfortable walking around and returning to the hotel at any time. A special note for me personally is that this was my second stay at White Sands. The first time I stayed there was back in 2012, when I stayed for over 10 days. Returning after 13 years, I was really impressed to see the renovations and how well the hotel has been maintained. This makes me a returning and loyal customer, and I will continue to come back and recommend White Sands to others.

    Brilliant hotel, I absolutely loved my room 2nd floor and location is perfect and can walk to waikiki and accessible to all bus routes even airport bus if one doesn't want to use uber The bathroom, could just put a soap stand, that's the only issue Also loved having a fridge and microwave in my room The swings by the bar are also a plus
