The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Natalia. Everything is clean and well kept from that aspect of things. We enjoyed our stay "in the city", and will likely stay with Vista Del Mar again in the future. We can tell the building has been undergoing renovations. There still a lot of minor things that need some TLC to spruce things up.
The centre spray portion of our shower head was missing, and promptly replace when we pointed it out. The staff are kind and interested in making the stay enjoyable. Natalia was very generous to us with her time to help sort out an issue we had with an activity reservation. Very smart and kind young lady.
The hotel is located ion the heart of activities in the downtown are. Most places ar 5-10 minute walk, some more distant places 15-20 minutes. Lots of bars on the main drag as well as souvenir shops and the Cozumel Museum. There are many great little restaurants off of the beaten path to explore.
