Amaranto Bed and Breakfast

The B&B was a short walk from the ferry terminal and is close to stores and restaurants. The property was nice and the penthouse unit we had was perfect and very comfortable. The property manager Mila was very responsive and answered all our questions.

It's a unique hotel, seemingly designed for comfort and privacy. I had a large round hit to myself, decorated with tile and with a big comfy bed and cute, clean bathroom. I had a little patio area and hammock, and high white walls around the property give a view only of surrounding greenery - very peaceful. A small pool for cooling off is welcome and there was AC in my unit. I loved it.

No complaints at all.

The penthouse, located on top of a building reminiscent of Gaudi's style (in my opinion), is an absolutely unique and architecturally and decoratively exceptional place to stay. Living there was a very special and wonderful experience. The building itself, also original in its architecture, is located on an ordinary, rather quiet street in the city center, from where everything is easily accessible for a typical tourist. I liked the staff, who were always available but never intrusive. Mila was very special to me. It was a quirky place and in a good location.

The cleaning was ok, one of the beds had some remains of chips or something. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The staff (1 person) was only around shortly in the morning and theres no one to receive you or to check out with although they message you everyday asking for the payment. They were not very warm. I also asked for a taxi to take me to my scuba in the morning and the lady said it was arranged but then it never came… It is also very very noisy (car, motorbikes and music) so if that bothers you this wont be the right place.
