While we have stayed at far more upmarket places in the area, Baldelli is a place we have returned to. It is very good value for money. The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. The reception staff really make you feel welcome, and are always friendly and happy to share information. The pool area is stunning, so is ideal for a relaxing trip. The breakfast options were excellent. Cortona is very near by so an easy drive for a visit or a meal.

The grounds and buildings are stunningly beautiful!!! A short drive into Cortona, this is the place to stay. Spacious rooms, beautiful pool, like a resort in an old movie and the staff are soo helpful and pleasant. The food was delicious as well. Definitely going back one day!

What can I say, from the first moment we stepped in we were greeted by a friendly male staff member who organised lunch and coffee for us while he tried to sort out a taxi for us to attend the township of Cortona. The food was delicious and when he didn't have any luck with the taxi services. He bent over backwards to make sure that we got into town during a busy weekend. Beautiful and romantic location, excellent and friendly service which was the best during our European trip and delicious food. What else could you ask for. 10/10! Highly recommended.

We liked this B&B. It was very welcoming and helpful for directions. The grounds were lovely, although it was too cold to use them. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, breads, cereal, yogurt, and tea and coffee. I would return should we have the opportunity. I would recommend this location to others. Cortona is a great hill town and great for climbing steep hills! There were some amazing restaurants, as well.

Really nice 17th century building with tasteful decor.Peaceful location set in lovely grounds. Very close to Cortona, but as it’s up hill you either need a car or to get a taxi! The hotel staff are very pleasant & helpful. We would definitely stay again! Next time we would hire a car & explore more of Tuscany!

Friendly staff (especially the jolly lady on check-in who was outstanding) but the hotel didn't live up to expectations unfortunately. The pool is average and avoid the 'classic' room as it seems to be the forgotten world. I wouldn't stay here again and think it was expensive for what it was.

This place is a dream place... The perfect set for a movie. There is a vineyard on the property and the area is loaded with the essence of olives, flowers, gardens and grapes... Is the perfect spot for just married couples, retreat or just for unwind. The closest place to heaven. The staff, Francesca, Leonardo, Eva and the rest of them are AMAZING. I would go back every time...

We enjoyed our Junior Suite so much that we tried to get back early each evening to have a picnic outside of our room with some wine and things we picked up at a deli in Cortona. A gorgeous Villa at the foot of Cortona. So happy to arrive at this lovely inn where 3 of us shared a room in a detached villa. The room is old and a little tired but the feel is authentic and you can not beat the grounds, the architecture, outdoor breakfast, and kind staff

OMG... If you died and woke up in "La Dolce Vita" you would be at this hotel sipping a drink called an "Americano" (Campari, Prosecco and soda) and listening to the church bells as the sun sets. The hotel and gardens are lovely. The desk clerk in the afternoon was the loveliest person. The pleasure to expense multiple was very high.

My wife and I stayed almost a week and loved the hotel. It is like staying in a an old Tuscan villa except with all the modern conveniences. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Conveniently located for visits into the old walled city and for day trips into the countryside. Staying here is a true taste of Tuscany.

From the moment my taxi pulled up in front of the Relais Villa Baldelli, I was absolutely enchanted. This hotel is a gem in the Tuscan countryside. My room was decorated in perfect antique Tuscan taste. I spent my mornings wandering through the vineyard and afternoons laying by the pool. Morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious and I enjoyed one excellent dinner and bottle of house red. When can I move in?

We loved it here. It was so relaxing and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was delicious! The only one little criticism I have is that it is hard to find food in the afternoon. We had to make a reservation by 10 am for lunch and if we didn't we could not have lunch. I found this a little strange so if I were the villa I would amend that rule a bit. Other than that we would love to return!

This was a truly unique hotel with a true Tuscan feel, tucked away at the end of a quiet road with a view of Cortona up above. Cortona was a 10 minute drive and you need a car if you are staying at this hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a small vineyard. They make their own wine which we tried and it was delicious. There's also a small golf range at the hotel and ample free parking. The pool was clean and picturesque, with beverage service. The lobby was old world and charming while also being sophisticated. At the front desk, Paulo was invaluable. He knew the area very well, was very knowledgeable about wines and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and served out in the gardens. Our room was huge with high ceilings and attractive decor. The bath was also a good size with a jet massage shower stall, toilet and bidet en suite. Everything was clean and well maintained. The small staff was friendly, spoke English and were very courteous. Our four small complaints: 1. Weird policy of no outside food in rooms or common areas. 2. Our bed had a slightly musty smell to it. 3. We were told we'd have a king but got a queen as their only room that has two twin beds to push together to make into a king was occupied. 4. Another weird policy, they won't give you an iron to use in your room, though-they will have the ladies iron your shirt and get it back to you in one hour, which was a treat if you're not in a rush or have lots of ironing.
