Just excellent !!! Big room , huge bathroom we were really surprised by the Parma & congress hotel

They must have two different sections in this hotel. My original room, was not what I expected or hoped for. The room was extremely outdated, and was in a very bad part of the hotel. After rating the hotel back to Expedia, the hotel requested I meet them at the front desk. They then placed me in a different section of the hotel which was much nicer and was more in line with my original expectation.

The staff on the front desk were efficient, but failed to engage.
I found the room clean and bed comfortable, although my wife found that the pillows were too hard. Maybe the hotel could throw in a couple of soft ones.
Unfortunately the Wi-fi in the room was pretty non existent, with it dropping out. However, this may have been due to our room (no’ 195) being located at the far end of building.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Regular/ returning guest, we stay twice a year.
This is my first time booking with Expedia.
The room was smaller than usual.
We were in an area under renovation, with the hallways being renovated.
The staff: very, very friendly, except for the boy who seemed "annoyed " by the guests ... a shame because it detracts from the work of the other girls, who have always been very kind.
Cleanliness: good, and the waiter was also kind.
Breakfast: normal, with a variety of products, both savory and sweet.
Overall, it was a good stay.
