    I really liked my stay here. I had an older suite, with a great view and good value for money. The bed was super comfy and the shower was nice and hot.

    The Oaks Hyde Park is in a great location overlooking Hyde Park. The room itself was a decent size, had everything needed to make our stay a comfortable one. Good size kitchenette, coffee pods, cups and other kitchen equipment. The view from our room was amazing although the window itself has seen better days. The bed was comfortable and the tv/internet connection was decent. The staff were lovely and we were able to store our bags with reception due to early check in and a late flight upon check out date. Overall our stay was a good one and we would definitely stay again in the future.

    This stay was so disappointing. We booked an Oaks Sydney Hyde Park 40m2 room which on their website is a 1 bedroom apartment. What we got was a very old and worn studio in need of a good scrub. The bed creaked noisily whenever the other person moved, the bathroom fan was extremely loud and woke up anyone who was asleep and when we arrived the benches were not even clean. The actual hotel facilities and location were great but we left after one night. We were there for a sports event and my preparation was poor with minimal sleep and I arrived at the event stressed and exhausted after trying to find alternative accommodation for hours the night before. This listing is exactly the same as the actual Oaks suites. We had no idea it was a separate entity until we arrived and reception had no room umder our name. They worked it out as it had happened before. Very misleading. Check with the hotel before you book to make sure you are getting what you pay for.
