    The apartment seemed like it hasn’t had a proper clean in a long time. Dust everywhere, even thru the vents often you could see it on the floor. No robes provided. Water from kitchen tap was murky. We do usually get bottled water for drinking but murky water used to was cups and glasses is a little concerning. The apartment is old and they just seemed to have fixed things here and there. The shower screen won’t close and took 2 days to repair. Housekeeping always failed to top up usual items like coffee etc. do note that only instant coffee granules are provided. Walls are thin and it’s disruptive to sleep. My child fell really sick and I feel that the hygiene level of this place is. Contributing factor. There was hair in the toilet sink when we checked in and mold everywhere, just not scrubbed in a long time. Do think twice if planning to stay here. Because we wanted a 2 bedroom for the family, we didn’t have much choices.

    Adina Surry Hills is prime location and the room was huge! Clean too. A large king bed and a balcony accessed from BOTH the lounge and bedroom. Well worth the extra $$ per night to be able to stretch out

    I stayed here while visiting my son at UNSW. It was ok as a base for getting around. It’s a short walk to the light rail or into the CBD. There are a few cafes, restaurants and shops nearby and it was easy to get here from the airport. My room had a small kitchen and laundry facilities, which was useful as I stayed here for almost two weeks. The apartment was large, the bed was comfortable but a bit cold in winter. There was an aircon unit on the wall which may have also been a heater but I didn’t investigate it. The small outdoor pool looks like it would be good in the summer and although I didn’t want to try it, I saw some people in it. As far as the downsides are concerned, there is a large and loud pub opposite and the music and talking was audible in the bedroom late on Friday and Saturday nights. As soon as I entered, I noticed stains of a liquid on the walls and later, a cockroach appeared in the bathroom. The housekeeping was a bit unpredictable. Sometimes they came in the apartment before 9am and sometimes I left before 9 and hung the sign on the door to attend to the room but they did not come all day. Overall, next time I think I will either spend a bit more to get more comfort and service or save money but get a similar quality of stay elsewhere.
