Overall good experience. The renovated rooms are so much nicer than the previous rooms. The Galt House is in a great location and parking is easy-in, easy-out. On the unfortunate side for us: the bedroom in our executive suite was very cold and the beds were uncomfortable with loud, rustling thin bedspreads. We were excited for our VIP food voucher because the Galt House has great breakfast options, but we did not read the fine print on the meal voucher. We were not able to use ours.

Parking was an issue. After going to the parking garage and my truck was too tall, I was told to go to another parking garage which has a full sign. I would have thought they should have known about this before sending me there since it's their garage. The traffic was horrible and it was hard then to get turned around and get back to ask where I should park.

We went to dinner in the restaurant on site. They were not very busy but it was a very long wait for our food. They forgot one of our appetizers. The food was mediocre. The hotel during checkout gave an invoice for one charge and the was charged extra on my card a couple days and no new invoice was given with an explanation, and never got an answer back from the hotel. It was a beautiful hotel but I would not stay again or recommend to anyone.

Hotel is beautiful, room was great. Only thing lacking was ease of getting in room and parking. I had to make 3 trips to unload my items bc there were no carts available and no where to park. When leaving I could not use a cart myself and was told to wait for bell hop which were non available. This is an inconvenience

Nice hotel. Stayed in West Tower. No one available to check in had to walk over to East. The woman that checked us in was very helpful and sweet. Bed was a little too soft and the comforter was not soft. Overall good stay though.

My biggest complaint was the West tower we stayed in. We had limited water pressure for 3 nights in a row. The front desk staff sent a maint guy to check on our room. However there was nothing he could do because it was related to their new boiler system. The showers took roughly 10 minutes to heat up and our sinks had very little flow coming out. On the 4th day i finally brought it up to the lady at the front desk and she offered to move us to the East tower to the 14th floor suite at no additional charge. We agreed and the difference in the water pressure was night and day. I feel like the could have offered to do that at the very beginning of our stay but we were trying to give them the benfit of the doubt. At checkout I had to adress the charges for the 4th and final night of our stay. The room they moved us to on the 14th floor, they were now trying to charge us full price. I had to re explain everything

When I went to check in, the staff was dismissive. She acted like it was a chore to make eye contact and explain the parking situation. The rooms were very clean and updated, however don’t expect to charge your phone by the bed. The beds were not comfortable, pillows were lacking support and we had the room temp set on 70° and still froze all night.

Staff was friendly, disappointed our 2500 truck could not use valet but we were able to self park without issue. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to most things downtown. Room and bathroom were pretty small but had a nice view of the river. I Called front desk about large wet spot in the corner of the room, no one ever came to check it out. The morning we left I sat down on the couch to book our next stop, there appeared to be toenail clippings along the inside frame of the table. I was too grossed out to inspect further. We will probably try a different hotel next time.

the heat didnt work there were n blankets in the room the food was terrible we had salmon and it was undercooked, the garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic taste they were emersed in pepper and cold the aspargus was undercooked and there was too much garnish on all of it . it looked pretty but tasted awful!
