Quiet boutique hotel on historic street in Louisville.

Good location for walking to Yum center for event and walking back late at night. Small boutique hotel , only 51 rooms, nice lobby spaces. Quiet hotel with interesting history. Nicely renovated and rooms are small but very adequate. Bathrooms nice. Valet service was great also with friendly good valet drivers to park car.

Coffee maker in room is a hot water device with instant coffee. No complimentary coffee in lobby or restaurant. No real hospitality vibes from “front desk” but that’s ok. Room 503 is cold, likely to windows in this historic space.

Great location, majestic rooms, superbly helpful staff!

Central location steps to Muhammad Ali Center, Slugger Museum, Whiskey Row. The room was also grand with its 12 foot tall ceilings, huge windows, comfy bed. Huge shower and bathroom as well. Lastly, staff were really helpful in giving recommendations ( Thanks, Angie!). Will definitely stay again the next t time I’m in town.

This Louisville Native Felt Right At Home at The Grady - What a Charming Stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Grady. The property is very beautiful and well-kept. An interesting combination of history and modern touches. My checkin with Kevin was excellent. I had several excellent meals at the Wild Swann restaurant below the hotel. Mark was a friendly and excellent server and made me feel right at home. The breakfast dishes I had were delicious. The location is quite good as well. It's walking distance to the Louisville Slugger museum, children's museum, and many restaurants and bourbon tasting rooms. I was born and raised in the south end of Louisville, and staying at The Grady was a welcome homecoming!

Parking is a bit of a challenge if you have a rental car and choose not to use the valet service. There is paid street parking. Also there are garages within a few blocks that are not super expensive. The hotel is in a cool historical downtown area and just not designed to have its own attached garage parking.

A Fabulous Find! Will Return!

The Grady is located central to so many great restaurants and attractions. It is also close to the Leadership Center, making it an ideal stay for conferences. I was able to leave my bags with staff and pick them up with my car following my work conference down the street. The hostess and valet were polite, friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hotel has so much charm and character. Rooms are small but don’t feel stuffy thanks to soaring ceiling heights. Robes and toiletries were an excellent touch.

No complaints at all! Ice availability on multiple floors would be nice but isn’t necessary.

Delighted with the Grady and the staff

The staff was so nice and personable. We love the environment and the decor. The food and drinks were exceptional. The planes flying overhead took some getting used to that night, but the beds were very comfy. Travis and Mark in the restaurant were wonderful servers. The lady who checked us in (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was so very nice and knowledgeable of the hotel and things going on nearby that we could enjoy.

I REALLY LIKED YOUR STAFF, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL , FRIENDLY AND OFFERING SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL DINNING. I REALLY DID LIKE THE STAFF THEY WERE WHAT MADE THE PLACE STAND OUT.

I FEEL THAT 6.00 A CUP OF COFFEE IS TOO MUCH. I COULD NOT EAT AT DINNER DUE TO VENUE. FOR THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE STAYED AT THE ONMI WHICH HAD ALL KINDS OF AMENTITIES. .

The Grady is a wonderful boutique hotel. We never had a bad meal at the Wild Swann. Very nice room and extremely friendly staff! I will be recommending this place to all of our friends. Great bars around, especially Proof on Main and Third Street Dive Bar. Great fireplace and fresh orange water in the lobby.

Road traffic was a touch loud on Main Street, but manageable.

Excellent Staff, Great Location, Clean and Friendly

The location was perfect--it was quiet enough but walkable to nice restaurants and bars. The staff was truly incredible, extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable about things to do in Louisville. The room was super clean, well appointed and comfortable. The lobby was "insta-worthy" and inviting. We will be coming back often.

The property was very clean and nicely decorated.

Our bed and pillows were terrible. It was quite possibly the worst mattress I’ve slept on and the traffic coming off the street was very loud. My husband and I were there for our anniversary and had trouble sleeping so we ended up packing up and going home very early in the morning to get some rest.

We came into town for the annual basketball tournament and will be back again to stay at Grady next year.

Grady was in a great location within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly, helpful, and engaging. The Swann restaurant down stairs was convenient and very good as well. Everyone made us feel like a welcomed guest.

Not necessarily a dislike, but an available QR code for the parking while staying would’ve been great, and a microwave in the room would have been a plus.
