    This is an ideal location, especially if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay. During my first visit, I was assigned a room with carpeting, but I couldn’t tolerate the odor. I asked to be moved, and they gave me a room without carpet. The difference was like day and night. If you’re sensitive to smells, I highly recommend requesting a non-carpeted room.

    I stayed here with my parents on a quick layover to drop them at airport the following day. The price was the best option in all of Anchorage I could find at the time. Cons: It is definitely an older motel. The rooms are not the cleanest or updated (paint chips coming off wall, dented fridge, & bathroom cleaning ignored). The tv was saying, no service. There were bath mat towels for body towels. The motel allows pets and the hallways definitely have a smell of animal urine. Pros: Again, if on a stricter budget, this was definitely the most affordable room accommodating three I could find at the time between searching hours on internet for hotels/motels/***’s. *** for a double bed room. Upon check in, I was automatically upgraded to the “suite” as well. Room was worn down and not the cleanest but at least it was more spacious with an extra private bedroom and kitchen, so that was nice. We were also automatically upgraded to the continental breakfast. Both were appreciated. The AC in main room of our room worked great too! Staff was nice and supplied more “towels” and shampoo that was requested at front desk. Coffee is available all day in the lobby and the continental breakfast is sufficient to get your day going...selection of bagels with cream cheese, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, mini donuts, and orange juice. Although I drove my parents to the airport myself, hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle being the motel is conveniently located to places to eat and the airport. I would definitely suggest owners put a little love into the place at least with some easier more affordable cosmetic changes, such as paint and cleanliness. All around though, I would stay here again if needed on the fact that the price is affordable.
