    The hotel is in a very convenient location right opposite Honolulu zoo near diamond head. The pool area is very comfortable - the sunbed amazingly so. The lobby is very traditional md open with a coffee shop and ice cream shop. The rooms are very basic but clean. There was not a lot of storage space for clothes etc. no drawers at all. But it was clean. The balcony felt a little grubby and was definitely in need of some updating. Everything else was good. E enjoyed our stay overall.

    The hotel’s location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would not stay again due to the state of the hotel room: both the sink and tub drain were clogged and filled the basins when used. The comforter was threadbare from use. The paint had not been maintained, making the room look beat up, especially in the bathroom.

    The location of this hotel was great next to everything you need beach food shops and bars. Had breakfast at dive most mornings which was ok for adults and children. Concierge very helpful A few points let it down - the room is massively dusty - the ironing board cabinets side tables lamps cobwebs from ceiling. Also a massive smell of cannabis when you enter the room like the smell is stuck in the stained carpets. No bottles of water on arrival or a form or minibar they do give you 2 reusable bottles but if you’re in a room with more than 2 people you have to purchase one which seems silly either add complimentary items to the room for all guests or just don’t bother. Again 3 guests but had to ask for the room to be made for 3 after entering no extra towels ect. Also expect 1 shower cap and amenity kit for 3 people to share on a trip. Asked for a cup for our ‘ welcome drink’ for our child to be told a cup was chargeable… safe to say we got our coffee elsewhere for the trip once you start being about cost for a small plastic cup for a child you are offering a can to. Our daughter fell quite ill on this trip after having water and ice from the 10th floor machine could have been a coincidence but we asked some questions at the desk and raised our concerns and no check back to see if our daughter was ok at all which I found distasteful. Overall it’s a cheaper option in Hawaii but all things considered even that’s overpriced for what it actually is. It’s convenient and floor 3 is a perk but wouldn’t stay again
