A picturesque and quiet village location. The cottage is lovely, the bedrooms are nice and the furniture is all good. There's a nice field/woodland walk which includes nearby Heveningham Hall. Wifi worked well and the smart TV has Netflix, iPlayer etc. Kitchen is a nice place to eat dinner.
We booked on the Sat and arrived on the Sunday, didn't hear back from the hosts and arrived to a cold property. It's heated by an oil something that provides limited hot water- the thermostat was spotted the next morning after we'd hidden under blankets! Water doesn't last long for a bath. Also local pubs don't seem to stay open/serve food much, which is maybe a post-Covid/Brexit reality still. Take enough supplies for your dinners or travel into Halesworth if you need a shop or food.
