Pied a Mer, Aldeburgh

It's closeness to the sea.

The extremely steep steps from the front door into the apartment itself. The Internet hub in the bedroom gave off a bright green light at night. It was virtually impossible to sleep with it on and no way to turn it off. The clothes cupboard contained a vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron. Hardly any room to hang clothes. Anyway, who wants to put clean clothes in with a vacuum cleaner? Not me. The boiler being situated in the bedroom cupboard made the room very hot and stuffy. The chain pull on the curtain blind was far too short which made it very difficult to open and close. We tried to contact the cleaner (a note was left saying the owners were away and to contact her) regarding the TV but we didn't receive a call back. We figured it out ourselves eventually.

Excellent location, well equipped, comfortable and clean.

Communication wasn’t great. Bedroom was very warm and the street below too noisy to open the window at night.

I was extremely impressed by the apartment. It is very well equipped and in a great location. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the sun in the bay window. The milk, cookies and wine were a lovely touch. The owner is also very responsive to any questions. I can highly recommend staying here.

Going home again.

Excellent. Recommend without hesitation 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
