Cute little flat with a fabulous view

Nice little seaside flat with the most stunning view. What a treat that was 😍 Seals and Dolphins around the Bay Area too. Clean and well equipped, we had a comfortable two night stay. Josh our host was easily contactable, and allowed us early entry after a long drive, which was appreciated.

Heating was a little temperamental, as was the amount of hot water available, not enough to fill a bath after some chilly sea walks.

Brixham stay

Smart and functional. Comfy bed, good sofa, decent range of equipment, nice shower and good size for the price. Close to town and easy to navigate via steps.

Could hear every move the upstairs neighbours made. I think we were unfortunate to have very loud fellow guests but was a bit of a theme. And could do with blinds or thicker curtains in the bedroom as we were woken at around five both mornings by the light.

Lovely 4 nights

The location was great with amazing views of the harbour. Although there is no parking there is a carpark 10 minutes walk away. Brixham is a beautiful place to spend a few days

The shower was terrible,it would be hot enough to brew tea in and then ice cold every 10 seconds so that needs sorting. The location was great for us but anyone with mobility issues would struggle with the hills but in fairness most of Brixhams accommodation is on a hill. The only mirror is above the bathroom sink so my wife would have preferred to have a larger mirror also elsewhere.

A cosy apartment, perfect for a couple to enjoy Brixham and the wider area.

The property is perfect for a couple to enjoy all that Brixham and Devon have to offer. Sea La Vie is a cosy apartment and is only a short walk from the harbour. There is plenty to do and see in Brixham and further afield and we were provided with a helpful guide to the local area. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to any queries.

Although it was not a problem for us, the lack of parking due to the nature of the town may be problematic for some, especially anyone with mobility issues.

location was great, arrivals easy, facilities ok

didn't feel it was value for money. the property is very small and can be noisy from upstairs and the staircase. no storage room and bedroom only big enough to get into bed.

No mirror to do my hair when using hairdryer , no handle on front door when closing , bath water not hot enough, and at the end told don’t leave anything behind or you will be charged £20 admin fee …. Seems harsh to end a nice stay on ☹️

Nice location, very clean, comfortable and excellent heating.

No type of support to safely assist people in and out of bath (Handles/rails). Plus grip mat as bath floor although nice and clean was very slippery. Unfortunately not enough hot water In system to fill up to perhaps half way, had to top up with lots hot water from kettle. Poor lighting on entering property from gate, no warning of quite a steep step inside the gate. While cooker was clean and effective the cooker controls could be better highlighted as not easy to detect when dials were in off position. Sadly one off the frying pans had a slightly bevelled base, so some movement on the cooking hob.

Great location, clean and comfortable and friendly host

The flat was really central and well equipped with most things. A mirror on the dressing table would have been a good thing to have as only one mirror and in the bathroom, so difficult to do hair etc. The shower needs sorting also as it dribbles out and the temperature is never right. Other than that a great stay for us as a couple and our Jack Russel. Clean and tidy as well as comfortable. Just us really fast at responding and very helpful. If I could have asked for one more thing, I would say a later check out as chick in 4 and check out 10, which is a little early. 11 would be better.

Better Shower, mirror in bedroom and later checkout would have mate it totally perfect.
