The room did not seem as advertised. We wanted and paid the family room and we got a small room with two twin beds. The add says kitchen, utensils, microwave , stove. But these are not in the room. You need to use the common area for that and it felt like we were inconveniencing the host and intruding on his space. It also says use of the private onsen which doesn’t apparently exist. The owner said we cannot use it or there was something wrong with it. Hard to communicate. Tried using Google Translate. But in the end the host said we got the family room. Hard to believe since we didn’t come with a family and barely fit in the room with the two of us. It is a bit rundown and though clean it could use new carpets as they had stains on them. On our arrival the host who doesn’t speak clear English showed us two room and didn’t use his translated to talk to us. So it seemed like we got to use two rooms. I had coffee in one room as to not wake my husband early in our tiny room. The host was not happy and basically gave us trouble so the communication was also unclear
