Spacious and well equipped Villa. Lovely pool which we all enjoyed! A nice cool outdoor space to eat and relax during the day. 25 minute journey to the beach and port. 20 minnutes drive to the historic town on Gandia and its amenities including supermarkets and restaurants.

We loved staying here, the property was clean, the rooms fairly modern and we had a great view of the mountain behind the villa. Carmen and her father went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one, for instance warning us when the hiking area was off limits due to the hunt. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at this villa, complete with nice sized pool, well equipped kitchen and outdoor area with bbq. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable as well. The secenery and sunset are truly mesmerizing. Are you a hiker? Check out the trails that are nearby. Do you like the beach? Take a short drive to Gandia and check out the beach and fishrestaurants.

This house has all the facilities you need for a quiet break away from it all with the benefit of fabulous woodland and mountain views on the doorstep. It has a nice pool area, bbq plenty of outdoor furniture plus 3 bathrooms. If you like hiking their are some nice trails off into the mountains. We also used it as a base for days out in valencia which was about 45 minutes drive.

The villa is exactly as described and the pictures don't do justice to how big the villa really is. It was fully equipped for all our needs as a family. Check in was easy enough with Carmen's Dad even despite the language barrier. He came and maintained the pool during the week and was always very friendly. The pool and outside areas were amazing and the views speak for themselves. We would definitely return in the future.

Over all the villa and its location is amazing. If I were to ask for any extras it would be aircon. It does get hot at night. However despite this and it was mentioned there was none I would book again.

Lovely villa for a party of 6 - facilities were great for the price and the pool was fab. Could have used air-con or fans in the bedrooms as it got rather warm at night. The view from the back of the villa is phenomenal - breathtaking!

We spent a week at this lovely villa which is in a remote location (car definitely needed!), the views were beautiful, lovey private pool, family friendly with the small but vibrant town of Gandhia only 15 - 20 mins away (Gandhia also has a beautiful beach, which isn't crowded). The owners, Carmen and Emilio couldn't do more to assist us. We especially appreciated Emilio's efforts to suggest places we could visit. he was so friendly and chatty, a shame our Spanish wasn't good enough to engage in a proper conversation with him. All in all, a very lovely and enjoyable holiday, to top it, the price was great too.

We spent a lovely peaceful 2 weeks here late August 2014. The kids were able to be noisy and boisterous in the pool because there are no neighbours. The views were to die for and we loved being in the mountains. The villa is modern, clean and is just as described. Our teenage kids did not want to leave the villa because there is table tennis in the garage as well as the pool. My only niggle was a wish that the number of sun beds should match the number the villa can sleep. We will want to return here sometime.

we wanted somewhere relaxing but close to facilities. We used to live in the area so knew the village and we found it exactly as described. Clean, modern all as brand new, very spacious and light. Fantastic views and not overlooked; pool great and all facilities we could need. Its about 20 minutes down into Gandia and the coast but you can walk to a bar and there are small supermarkets and shops in the next village. Carmen and her dad very helpful and speak excellent English. The thing that clinched it for us was the flexible letting arrangements as we did not want to go Saturday to Saturday. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay again.

Escogimos esta casa porque todos los sitios que queríamos visitar nos quedaban como máximo a 1 hora en coche y porque según las fotos parecía tener muy buena pinta. La casa nos ha gustado mucho y es tal cual muestran las fotos. La relación calidad/precio es de 10 No tiene aire acondicionado pero todas las habitaciones tienen ventilador de techo aunque nosotros solo lo tuvimos que poner un par de noches porque hacía mucho calor y así pudimos dormir sin problemas, somos del Norte y se nota. Al estar en la sierra no hace tanto calor como en la costa y cerrando las persianas por el día y abriendo las ventanas la casa se mantiene más fresca. Es una pasada llegar de noche y cenar en la terraza viendo las estrellas y las montañas de fondo o pegarse un bañito en la piscina nada más levantarte. En el pueblo de Barx, que está a 4 min en coche, hay tienda y panadería por lo que no es necesario ir a Gandía para comprar. Si tengo que ponerle alguna pega, es que la cocina está equipada con los utensilios minimos, por ejemplo no hay cuchillos que estén afilados y corten bien, y algunas cosas habrían que cambiarlas porque ya están muy usadas. Si se quiere un sitio tranquilo, estar en la naturaleza y no en medio de la masificación de la costa pero cerca de muchas sitios, esta es la casa ideal.

Das sehr gut ausgestattete Haus ist etwa 15 Minuten von Gandia und den umliegenden Stränden entfernt. Es liegt in einer Höhe von etwa 300 Metern in einem Tal, welches im Norden und Süden von gut 800 Meter hohen Bergen umschlossen wird. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist grandios und selbst Ende März scheint die Sonne bereits bis ca. 19:30 Uhr. Wir haben unsere 10 Tage in der letzten März- und ersten Aprilwoche sehr genossen, auch weil die zu dieser Zeit abends und morgens noch benötigte Heizung sehr gut funktioniert hat. Die Lage ist wirklich klasse, etwa 1 Stunde nach Valencia, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Gegend, beste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gandia und wer wandern oder Fahrradfahren möchte, ist sowieso an der richtigen Stelle. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Besten Dank an Carmen und Emilio.
