Location is great
No one informed us at the time of booking that we would need to collect the keys from a different location.
Finding and accessing the property was somewhat difficult, and clearer instructions should have been provided in advance instead of requiring us to ask for them.
There was no information provided regarding city tax exemptions.

I had a comfortable nights sleep the bed is very low. The window was awkward to open and when we did open it was so noisy outside but when we closed the window I was surprised how quiet it was. It was in a fabulous location close to restaurants.
The room was small and the shower recess and vanity but that was fine. I wasn’t impressed with the guy at the bar I had to get the key off. He said turn left over the bridge and your there. Well we have never been to Venice before and when we finally got to the gate it should have the name Ca’ Matir a guy in the shop next door told us. The stairs were steep and I held onto the ropes which were fine. After walking so much during the day going up those stairs were tiring.
