Apartments Rog

Had everything we needed. Comfortable. Good location, close to centre. Good shower. Cafe next door is very nice.

Parking is very expensive at €55 for 24 hours. We used on street parking alongside apartment which is much cheaper. Decor quite stark, feels a bit glum.

Great location at the end of the pedestrian area, a few minutes walk along the river into the centre. Far enough away to be quiet but close enough to see everything. Beautiful apartment with two lovely comfortable double bedrooms and a spacious lounge and kitchen. Great cafe/restaurant downstairs where we had a beautiful breakfast and delicious tapas our first evening. The Rog creative centre just next door was fabulous and we did a lovely city cycle tour that started just behind our apartment.

It was fantastic. Only one small downside was hearing the music from the cafe downstairs all the time in the front bedroom.

The location was quite good as it was by the canal. The apartment was very modern with lots of light during the day. It was tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. We asked for a few things and the they were delivered very promptly.

It was a bit confusing to find the apartment for us. The public parking next door was very expensive so we relocated the car to another public car space 10 mins away on foot. We had a mix up with apartment so we had to relocate after we had unpacked everything so all up our check in was very long. The host assisted us to relocate which was great. The kitchen wasn’t very well stocked for cooking with frypans etc.

Location was great! Close enough walk to the main sites.

There were a lot of ants in one of the bedrooms. The host quickly responded and came to clear it out, but the ants came back the next day. They were large flying ants and it freaked me out so I couldn’t sleep in that room and had to sleep on the sofa bed. Also, the hot water for the shower ran out pretty quickly. There were 4 of us, so we had to limit our showers to 2 minutes each person to have enough hot water. That was terrible.
