Cleanest place we've ever stayed, the rooms really were spotless. Victor and his staff/family are wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast is good with fresh scrambled eggs made there and then, and for any trips that depart before breakfast a goodie bag is provided. Showers were always hot.
Soundproofing is limited and we had a few problems with other guests making a lot of noise. There are notices up about quiet time and being considerate when closing doors so this isn't necessarily a fault of the hostel itself, although we would suggest adding some foam around door and window frames to try to improve weather and sound sealing, as the fit was loose in both rooms we stayed in (we extended our stay to a total of 6 nights in 2 rooms). That in itself would make a huge difference.

This hostal was more than what we expected. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It has exactly what you need to spend your time in San Pedro de Atacama. We were picked up here by all the tour agencies. The host always made sure we had a snack to go or breakfast. They provide room service every day, which is a plus for me. We were even offered electric adapters since we didn’t have any. It was a great and unique experience!!!
It was a 15 minutes walk from the center, but nothing crazy bad at all.

The room was large enough, 1 single bed 1 queen bed. It was all clean.
Victor was very helpful, he called a few agencies to check my tours, booked me a airport transfer.
He also helped me to change all sheets after the sand storm
The location is 15 20 min walk to the center. When it rains you can not go to a restaurant etc
There was a sand strom one day and my room was full of sand, bed bathroom towels desks floor everywhere. Victor was helping me to charge the sheets etc
Breakfast can be improved, no fruit, no avocado, no real coffee.
