    This is really nice property set back from the main road. I chose to stay in a "tent" which was really more like a normal room with canvas walls. The property has 2 pools, both of which were very clean and nice. The grounds are very well kept, with staff constantly cleaning and raking up leaves, etc. The entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating. My only suggestion would be to allow those on half-day (6hr) safari to opt for a late breakfast / checkout. This is something hotels do in Yala (Tissa) which made things much easier logistically.

    Amazing place around lush greenery. They also have an amazing breakfast spread. Should have stayed for at least 2-3 more nights. They can also arrange safari for people

    Luxury pool view tents are spacious and beautiful. The attached washrooms are open from top for all kinds of rooms. They look extremely aesthetic however it does not feel private and there is a fear of rain, monkey or any reptile coming in. Hot water was not there in the washroom, and room lights are dim. Breakfast buffet was great considering we are vegetarians. Location is 15-20mins from the Udawalwe National Park gate. Safari services provided by the resort is great and best in pricing. Staff is very nice. Overall , a recommended property.

    I stayed in a luxury tent at Kottawatta Village and it was a perfect spot to go on safari. The staff organized everything and I had a great time. The grounds are beautiful and the dinner there was great. I had the vegetarian burger and honestly it might be the best veggie burger I've ever had. I'd recommend this to friends and family. Also, the value for money is exceptional.
