New Caspian Hotel

the rooms are clean,the the air conditioning at 1st room which given to us was not working. After informing counter, they changed another room to us right away. And the air conditioning was new, and with remote control. The counter Indian staff was friendly and helpful, he even call me to confirm my arrival which is nice. And the private carpark was just beside the hotel. Walking distance to night market, tong Sui gai, lots of local food and local specialty shop.

Nothing

I had a pleasant stay here and wish to come back for my next trip to Ipoh. I actually stay the night her because of a marathon event and it was a good rest. Friendly staff at the reception who is very passionate about his job and is very particular about the safety of the place. I wish more hospitality staffs are like him! Definitely will return.

A bit rundown but nothing major as it didn't affect my stay much. I hope the owner gets some budget to revamp the hotel but I also hope it won't be stripped off of it's vintage old school vibe because it's so attractive.

We had a lovely stay at New Caspian! Especially the receptionist, Armin, was a highlight. He was so kind and offered great suggestions on our onward travel to Georgetown and things to do in Ipoh! The stay was cozy, it is an original 1930's hotel but it was perfect for our needs. We also liked the location in the new town rather than the old town better.

Honestly nothing! The walk to old town was about 20 minutes or just a quick grab away.

Clean bed. Spacious

No lift, only stairs. Dont hv complimentary, shower / shampoo, etc
