Excellent place to stay

Spacious, comfortable, well decorated, and well stocked. The bed was phenomenally comfortable! Had everything we needed for a greag stay. Great location in Newlands, walkable but still tucked away. Host Lara was also very helpful. Highly recommend!

Fused globe in lamp, which was replaced on request. Soap in bathroom needed refilling. Limited kitchen utensils - no dish draining rack or washing up cloth. No lid for the frying pan, no egg lifter, cheese grater, kitchen tongs, spare garbage bin liners. Counter space taken up with microwave, airfryer etc, so no seated space to eat. Coffee table ( we ate on our laps) at the couch is a bit rickety. Large mirror standing on lounge floor - would be nice to have it wall mounted.

Disappointing

The place was clean and neat. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and shower. Very centrally situated which made it perfect for our visit.

The parking is a huge problem. The place is situated on a road opposite a school. There are signs in the road restricting parking times. No shade to park in. Our car had to sit in the blazing sun. The website said: - on sight parking. It was not on site. It was on the pavement, actually it was more like street parking. Inaccurate information. Other reviews also complained about the parking issue. Not enough information was given when checking in about refuse removal, where to put the full bags. There were no dish cloths, wiping up rags, No Dishrack to dry dishes either. The induction plate was faulty. The website said there was an oven. No oven only an airfryer and microwave.

The property is situated within walking distance from shops and restaurants and the area was peaceful. It was airy with plenty of windows and with a sofa and kitchenette made it the perfect place for a business trip. Lara was an attentive host who was not intrusive. I will certainly use this accommodation again.

I would have liked some additional bowls for storing leftover food but otherwise everything was great. Very upmarket appliances.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation was beautiful and private. The location suited our needs perfectly, being close to Dean Street and other centre down the road where Barristers is. It's also not too far from the local PnP.
