River view. Enough space for 4 (of us) people

Noise during the day.. It was not so clean as it was expected

location is great and owner tried hard to accommodate us. the property, though, really needs a few updates.

condition of the bedrooms was fine. color schemes of the bedding and other details made it look stale. the bathrooms very much need to be redone.

This is a lovely single floor, self-contained apartment located in an old town house that over-looks the river Seine in the district of Boulogne-Billancourt. It was great value for money and the location is superb with easy to get to transport links such as the Metro (line 10, Boulogne Pont de Saint Cloud), buses, or regional trains and Trams from across the river (Tram T2 from Saint-Cloud with a change at Issy Val de Seine for the RER C regional train is a great way to get to the Palace of Versailles). The locality is well served with supermarkets, restaurants (check out Cafe des Arts) and the wonderful Albert-Kahn Museum and gardens. The area is reasonably quiet, the apartment is insulated from any road noise and while it has a basic level of amenities it is comfortable, warm and very, very spacious with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with a basic fridge and cooker hob along with a microwave. There is also a spacious toilet with shower. There is no car parking available at the site. City bikes are available a short walk away. Security is very good at the site so I would recommend this for both male and female solo travellers. The apartment can comfortably take 4-5 people. Entrance to the apartment is via a short outside stair and then continuation to the first floor by internal stairs, but note that this would not be suitable for a mobility impaired person, there is no elevator or other mobile assistance available.

The furnishings are a little dated as is the tv, but these are very small concerns that I think are unimportant. Overall, considering the value for money, the secure, spacious and comfortable surroundings, access to local transport links and restaurants and shops, there was nothing to dislike.
