Dual feelings

A cozy house in a quiet and beautiful location, with comfortable beds and pillows. I didn't want to be unfriendly to the host, but after her messages to me ruined my mood, I decided to write everything. Instead of thanking us for taking the time to clean her appliances, she sent me photos showing that we hadn't emptied the clean dishwasher or cleared away the dishes with food leftovers on them. As if she didn't charge us, but was paying us! As if she didn't charge us extra for a child! As if she didn't rush us in the morning to leave an hour earlier than the time allocated in the booking! We tried to leave as soon as possible, and we and our baby were stressed because of it. She herself provided just one garbage bag and 4 dishwasher capsules for a 4-night stay. Only after we asked did she bring two more garbage bags. It's obvious the host has no idea what dirty baby diapers smell like, especially since the trash can is right between the kitchen and the living room. I really regret not taking photos of all the dirt, mold, and receipts for the cleaning products I bought to clean her house. In response to her threats, I have already contacted customer service.

The internet is very, very bad. The signal only works within a few meters of the wall where the TV is located. As soon as you move further away, it disappears, and it doesn't work at all on the second floor. For us, this was a huge drawback because we were with a baby and our baby monitor only works with the internet. As a result, we couldn't even turn on the TV and had to constantly listen out for him. There is some construction work happening in the neighboring house, and the noise on weekdays starts between 7 and 8 AM. The staircase is dangerous for small children; there is no safety gate. The cleanliness of the floor needs more attention. We took our shoes off at the entrance and walked around in socks, and they would be dirty after just one evening. The washing machine is in very poor condition, completely covered in black mold, which is a health hazard. I spent two hours trying to clean it, but it requires a deep cleaning to remove the mold. We also bought a cleaning product to descale the kettle, which was full of limescale, and to clean the dishwasher. For those who don't like climbing, be aware that the house is located on a very steep hill.

Appréciable et confortable

La tranquillité, la discrétion, suffisamment spacieux pour 5 personnes. Il y avait tout le nécessaire dont nous avions besoin pour notre séjour. Peut-être avoir le mode d'emploi des plaques chauffantes. Le réseau Wifi était un peu faible, le petit plus, avoir accès a des plateformes de streaming!
