Great place to stay

Perfect location in the very center of Piran. Apartment on the second floor very clean, well equipped, big and very comfy bed, with a large terrace. The hosts are very kind, they gave us their parking space and met all our requests. Registration simple and very easy. A fantastic breakfast that was included in the price is at the beautiful cafe restaurant "Mestna Kavarna" in the very center on Tartini Square. Thanks to the hosts for everything, because they made our stay in Piran unforgettable.

The complaint has nothing to do with the apartment, but with the organization of parking in Piran, because if you don't have a reserved parking space, parking your car is very problematic and expensive.

The whole of Piran is essentially a pedestrian area, which is great. Mandatory long term (= everything over 1 hour) car parking in the facilities just outside the town's boundaries. The long term car parking facility for non-residents (= tourists) has changed hands (i.e.: ownership). Since then parking costs have doubled from EUR 15 per day to EUR 30 per day (incl. EUR 1 for the bus shuttle into town). [However, this is still well below the outrageous parking charges in Rovinj, where costs amount to EUR 48 per day now.]

Great location, uncomfortable bathroom

The location and breakfast were great — both really made our stay enjoyable.

The room itself is fine if you’re traveling alone, but the doors and toilet are extremely loud. The doorknobs and flush tank should be replaced, as the noise caused a lot of waking up during the night. The bathroom is so small that a taller or larger person can’t sit on the toilet comfortably, and there’s no ventilation. Because of these issues, we wouldn’t recommend it for light sleepers or anyone needing more space. The room is also quite small and a bit cramped, but that’s to be expected from an old Piran house turned into a B&B.

Lovely bolt hole in old town Piran. The top floor penthouse with roof terrace is fabulous

Central location in old town, just meters from the sea. Clean contemporary furnishings, luxury towels & taking breakfast at a restaurant in main square was a daily treat. Access instructions very good & responses from owner were quick & helpful

The restaurant photos on Booking.com appear to be a separate business beneath the accommodation which is a little misleading

Great location in historic village

Ideally located in the historic village centre. very clean and comfortable room, if a little small. Beware of step to bathroom in the middle of the night! Room was in the narrow street, not in the building as the photos show which are all of the restaurant.

Parking is a huge hassle in Purin. Can’tpark in the city! Parking runs about $12 a day but the room was very reasonable, so not a problem. This info needs to be specifically explained. Park at garages and take parking garage elevator down and walk over to bus shuttle. Or drop off your stuff and get a validation from the host… Hard to know where to go to find host. Needed more helpful directions for parking; took us an hour to figure it all out.

central location. good breakfast. host was friendly and nice design.

the studio was extremely, almost irresponsibly noisy. we slept for 2 hours on average per night. the room was dirty, didn’t get cleaned throughout the entire stay, the bin didn’t get emptied, no new towels at any point in time. the room was tiny, there were no hooks, no table, no proper curtains or shower gel. there was no reception. we had bed bug concerns as I woke up covered in bites. the host didn’t even bother to change the sheets or clean the room. very expensive for what it is.

We loved that you could go to the main square and have breakfast outside in the sunshine! And the breakfast was very good! We had a small slice of a view of the sea from our window which was nice too!

Big suite, clean and excellent location

Great location, kind and helpful hosts. The suite is really bright when you open all the shutters. The breakfast is at the Mestna taverna on the Tartini square (1-2 minutes away). Great breakfast!

Some of the lights in the suite were not working. One evening we ran out of hot water.

Very good location, very close to the sea shore. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean, quite well equiped room, very good for a short stay. Great breakfast in the café on the main square (2-3 minutes walk from the hotel)

The room was quite small (difficult to move around with two suitcases on the floor, especially if you stay for more than 2 nights). Small hooks for towels in the bathroom would be useful (otherwise no place to hang the wet towles). A small kettle in the room would be nice.
