Individual character of the property and its garden area, including small orchard, flowers and renovated chapel. The room and facilities were old fashioned in a pleasant way and comfortable. The owner was both affable and efficient.
There was nothing about the place that my wife and I disliked, other than the initial difficulty of reaching it due to road closures. This was, of course, not the owner's fault.

The 200 year old house is amazing, the room furnished in the style of the house was quaint and the breakfast was lovely with honey which was collected from the owners own bees. All in all it was a beautiful quiet location and only a 20 minute drive from the tunnel.
We didn't like leaving the establishment after such a short stay. It would be nice to have stayed longer to totally chill out and refresh after a stressful tunnel crossing in intense heat.
