Charming family hotel

I am fond of small familiar hotels ran by the owner, even if the amenities are not the same as those in a typical hotel. We had a charming big room (accessible via two sets of old stairs), with lots of space, good heating, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is small but perfectly functional. The place is very clean. Frédéric, the owner, was very helpful upon arrival, told us where to park, recommended some restaurants and helped us get situated. And the location of the hotel, on a quiet street around the corner of a main street, is ideal.

It was quite cold in the bathroom (Dec 31). There is a small heater but it turns off after a few minutes. This should be changed. Also, those little bags of shampoo/body gel are impractical and generate waste. I suggest having refillable bottles of shampoo and gel attached to the wall, particularly since there is no shelf to put bottles or anything on. Breakfast could be a little better (soft boiled eggs, more savory food) for the 12 EUR price.

A perfect stay for a short solo visit

The location was excellent and the owner made me very welcome with excellent suggestions for restaurants such as the Riad

Room didn’t have a full window view and shower was small with few toiletries but I was hardly in the hotek and it was excellent value

We loved everything about the property. Frederic was a delight to get to know and talk to with lots of good suggestions for our stay. The location was perfect. Close to the train but only a 10-15 minute walk to everything we wanted to see and do The room was comfortable and spacious . I highly recommend .

Location

The amenities are not there. 3 stars hotel have much more than 2 small bags of combined shampoo and body wash. Towels are off white. It is 1 star hotel worth

Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff

The location was excellent, close to the train station (for the TGV) but also not far from the historic sites, restaurants and high street. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and peaceful.

This hotel is in an excellent location to explore Avignon.

The coffee was excellent because we could self-serve and get the size of coffee that met our preference. Breakfast was ready on time and had a variety of choices.

We enjoyed everything about our experience. One suggestion would be to provide written directions to operate the air conditioner.

Room photos are misleading. They are of the rooms but are very complementary, reality was disappointing. I paid for a superior room. Perhaps we got an old room, they couldn’t move us because they were full. Not the boutique gem I had hoped.

Wonderful boutique hotel

The deluxe room was a big size and so too was the bathroom, the manager was friendly and helpful. The hotel foyer was comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this property.

Clean, comfortable place to stay in the heart of the city with great value for it’s location

Excellent location - close to the center of Avignon but on a side street so it was quiet. The place and rooms were very clean and new.

Our bathroom and shower were very small. We are used to small bathrooms in Europe, but it was very tight. Not a huge deal but it made showering a challenge

Charning hotel near Avignon Centre train station.

It’s a lovely little hotel right of the main promenade and 5 minutes walk from the train station. We were greeted by the very personable owner Frédérique and his beautiful and very large cat, Topaz. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was an excellent addition to our stay.

Cozy Hotel in the Heart of Avignon.

One of my favourite stays in France. The lobby/reception area was quite lovely and there were a few friendly cats casually hanging around as well. The hotel was superb and had comfortable beds. It was also located close to all the attractions; everything was within walking distance. Also, be sure to visit the Irish Pub right on the corner as their food was brilliant.

Staff and reception positive, premise different from expected

The owners are super nice and helpful. They don’t have parking but we could leave the car in front of the premise for the night. Great location to reach the center

The bathroom of the room was disappointing,very different from the pictures in the webpage. Very humid and without shower plate so remained wet for the whole stay
