The property is in a quiet, scenic location and is super convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We really appreciated the peaceful setting and beautiful views.

A simple “how-to” guide for the house would go a long way—especially for things like the multiple thermostats (some of which seemed locked), tricky light switch placements, the gas fireplaces (no instructions), and a grill that requires manual lighting due to a broken igniter. The house got quite warm during our stay (85–89°F outside), and without central AC, airflow was limited—fans helped, but fan mode on the AC system would have been useful if accessible. TV options were also very limited—only one small TV in a bedroom that wasn’t functional for streaming. Adding a smart TV or preloading streaming apps would be a big plus. We understand the point of visiting this area is to be out in nature but it would be nice to have TV on at night while relaxing after a long day of sightseeing / hiking etc, and even nicer during rainy days. Be aware that although the listing says “all one level,” most bedrooms require a step up, and there’s a small step at the entrance—important info for anyone with mobility issues.

TOO HOT. NEEDED AIR CONDITIONER in bedrooms. The windows didn't even open in the one bedroom. TV only in one bedroom. Should have been in livingroom.
