Inside this very inviting retreat, you'll find a well-equipped, island kitchen with counter seating and all the appliances and accessories you need to prepare everyone's favorite recipes. Dine together indoors at the table for six, or head outside in warm weather and gather on your wraparound deck for a unique, al fresco experience.
Back indoors, pick a seat on the leather sofas in the main living area and watch TV, or head into the family room where you'll find an additional TV, console video games, and a convenient desk and chair - perfect for remote work or schooling.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This cabin is just absolutely lovely! Beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and Indian Peaks directly from the windows, lots of space for everyone to sleep, and all sorts of nice touches, like heaters over the porch swings and places to sit among the trees. Great access to hiking and skiing, and Rocky Mountain National Park is right up the road! This place is perfect for big adventures or just staying in and playing board games with family and watching moose go by. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a retreat out into the fresh mountain air!

House was great. Getting in during winter months is really hard. Luckily we read a previous review that warned us so we brought a steel ice flat blade, a steel shovel as well as a shovel with steel edge. It took an hour to break up and remove the built up ice and snow 2.5 x 4 feet which had fallen from the roof and blocked the front door. There was a plastic shovel which would never have done the job. Also the snow plow comes by and blocks the driveway so you have to shovel in order to get in. Just be prepared or stop at the hardware store. House was clean and well stocked and perfect for our group once we were in.

House was warm and cozy, had everything we needed.
When we arrived driveway was clean from snow but it was all piled up on the sides, it was all ice rock and there was no way to break it with a plastic snow shovel we found there, ice piles were blocking both of the entrances to the house making it not safe for our elderly mother to walk over the ice to get to the stairs, phone #'s listed on the info sheet were not answered when trying to get some help, Vacasa people said they were going to get back to me when the ear from locals, never happened.
