Welcome to Kapteins Cottage Uwe.
Enjoy a relaxing vacation at Haus Uwe, a single-story vacation home that sleeps up to 4 people. The house features a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a shower room with a rustic Scandinavian interior and solid wood furniture that changes color with the seasons. A gas fireplace in the living room provides cozy warmth. The built-in kitchen is equipped with a stove/ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster.
For a small fee, you can use the washer and dryer in the utility room. Enjoy free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. Please note that Haus Uwe is a non-smoking and pet-free vacation home. The linens package includes a made-up bed, as well as a bath towel and hand towel per person.
P.S.: Kapteins Cottage—In 1897, Jürgen Jürs, a scion of a well-known family of captains from Elmshorn, earned his skipper’s license. Starting in 1920, his Ewer “Emanuel” was moored in Süderhafen. He and his brother Peter were the last captains to sail the Wadden Sea without motor power in their ewers. His son, Jürgen Jürs Jr., built the first vacation homes on Nordstrand with his wife, Inge, in 1969. These have enjoyed uninterrupted popularity among young and old alike—singles, couples, and families. Since 2009, Ocke and Heinke Jürs have been dedicated to ensuring their guests’ comfort with great commitment and care.
Uwe Vacation Home – Deichhelden Nordstrand:
Experience style and comfort in the elegant Kapteins Cottage in the heart of Nordstrand. The vacation home features a fresh, Scandinavian-inspired, and cozy interior, including a fireplace, radiant heating, and a fully equipped kitchen. A garden and sun terrace, complete with furniture for summer evenings, round out the idyllic atmosphere.
The cozy, light-filled living/dining room offers a beautiful view through floor-to-ceiling windows.
The bedroom features a double bed (180x200cm), and a second bedroom with a pull-out double bed (160x200cm) ensures a comfortable night’s sleep for up to 4 people. A beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower, hair dryer, wall-mounted toilet, and heated towel rack provides a modern vacation experience. A private parking space marked with the name of the house and a washer/dryer in the communal utility room are also available. Bicycles can be stored securely. An initial set of bed linens and towels can be booked as an optional extra for €20 per person.
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and check-out from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
