Our modern, light-filled architect-designed home, “Georgs Huis,” accommodates up to 4 people and now features a barrel sauna, offering plenty of comfort for a relaxing North Sea vacation in North Frisia.
Location
The beautiful “Georgs Huis” is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the small Frisian village of Neukirchen, with a view of the vast marshland—sunset views included.
It’s no wonder that the famous painter Emil Nolde was drawn to a district of Neukirchen—Seebüll, now a museum—and to this magnificent natural landscape with its ever-changing sky colors. Shopping, restaurants, an outdoor pool, a swimming lake, the Dike Museum, a barefoot garden, Gotteskoog Lake, Rickelsbüller Koog, the North Sea with access to the islands, Halligen, and Denmark—all are located in the immediate vicinity.
Amenities This single-story vacation home offers approximately 125 square meters of living space, a large southwestern-facing terrace (30 square meters), and is situated on a fenced-in garden lot of approximately 900 square meters.
The spacious and light-filled living area features a large, comfortable round sofa and a flat-screen TV, a modern, beautifully decorated dining area, and an open, fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator (including a freezer), dishwasher, coffee maker, and Nespresso machine.
The two bedrooms (each with a box-spring bed (180 x 200), one with a TV) can accommodate up to 4 people.
The large, relaxing bathroom with a shower and bathtub offers a direct view of the vast fields.
The guest restroom and an utility room with a washer and dryer (fee: €3.00 per load) round out the amenities. The entire house is heated by underfloor heating.
When the weather is nice, the terrace invites you to relax.
There’s plenty of comfortable patio furniture, as well as a large patio table for the whole family. A charcoal grill is available for the perfect barbecue evening.
Another highlight: Relax in our beautiful new outdoor barrel sauna (fee: 15 € per session).

Children and dogs are very welcome here. The large, fenced-in garden offers plenty of space for both two- and four-legged friends to run around and play.
We’re happy to offer you free Wi-Fi. Parking is available right next to the house.

Als erstes möchte ich ein großes Lob an die Ferienhausvermietung aussprechen. Als ich nach Ankunft ein kleines Problem hatte wurde mir umgehend und schnell geholfen und das an einem Samstagabend, das ist große Klasse. Ich war mit unserer Hündin Milou Vorort.
Nun zum Haus. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr gut und schön ausgestattet mit allem was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Sehr sauber und modern und mit Liebe zum Detail.
Der Garten ist quadratisch, praktisch gut und hat eine super Größe und lässt sich mittels Tor in zwei Bereiche einteilen. Hier kann der Hund ungestörrt toben da es eingezäunt ist.
Es gibt nur einen unmittelbaren Nachbarn (der selbe Ferienhaus-Besitzer) und die Zäune grenzen aneinander an einer Seite.
Auch toll das hier ein superchices gepflegtes Haus für Mehrhundebesitzer zur Vermietung angeboten wird.
Insgesamt ein gelungener Urlaub zu einer kalten und düsteren Jahreszeit.
Die Gegend ist zum spazierengehen vom Haus aus nicht so ideal, ein Auto ist schon notwendig um auch mit Hunden schöne Spaziergänge zu machen.
Ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig und man blickt auf Felder.
Ein paar Anregungen habe ich dennoch. Es fehlt aus meiner Sicht ein großer Kochtopf um z.B. auch mal 500 Gramm Nudeln zu kochen. Die vorhandenen Töpfe sind dafür einfach zu klein. Ebenso könnte der Wasserkocher mal eine Generalüberholung benötigen und die Messer im Messerblock sollten geschärft oder getauscht werden. Aber das ist jammrn auf hohem Niveau, ansonsten war alles da was man im Urlaub für 1-4 Personen benötigt.
Wir hatten eine superschöne Zeit und empfehlen gerne weiter.

Wir sind wirklich begeistert. Mit unseren zwei Hunden konnten wir ein paar richtig schöne Tage im schönen Nordfriesland verbringen! Die Gegend ist sehr ländlich aber für uns einfach nur traumhaft. Das Haus ist groß, geräumig und wirklich sehr liebevoll und freundlich eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber.
Den Nachbarn kann man gut aus dem Weg gehen, wenn man das möchte - ist aber kein Muss.
Für uns war es definitiv nicht der letzte Urlaub im Georgs Huis.

Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt, wir haben die beiden Gärten und die absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit wirklich sehr genossen.
Ein kleiner Minuspunkt:
Wir hätten uns ein wenig mehr Beleuchtung in der Hofeinfahrt und auf dem Weg zur Sauna gewünscht. Die Sauna an sich war für uns leider nicht ganz so, wie erhofft, da diese einfach nicht heiß genug wurde (auch wenn das natürlich jetzt meckern auf hohem Niveau ist). Sie wurde lt. Innenthermometer maximal 70 Grad warm und das Ganze dauerte leider doch sehr lange. Daher war die Sauna für uns okay, aber leider nicht optimal. Und das Waschen im Haus kostet extra (3 Euro), aufgrund der momentanen Situation (Energiekrise etc.) ist das grundsätzlich auch okay, hierfür etwas zu verlangen, ich hätte mir jedoch hierzu vorab eine Info gewünscht, nicht erst bei Ankunft im Haus.
Die Ausstattung des Hauses war aber ansonsten wirklich toll und wir haben uns gefühlt als würden wir nach Hause kommen. Der Zaun im Garten ist, wie bereits beschrieben nicht all zu hoch aber für uns war dieser absolut ausreichend. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Badezimmer wirklich toll. Die Schlüsselübergabe mit dem Safe hat ebenfalls einwandfrei funktioniert.
Eine Mikrowelle wäre tatsächlich wünschenswert, aber man kann natürlich auch im Ofen / auf dem Herd Essen aufwärmen.
Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und werden sicher wiederkommen, wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und auch die Nähe zu Dänemark und an die verschiedenen Deiche ist wirklich toll. Der kleine Nahkauf vor Ort hatte alles, was man brauchte, aber auch Aldi, Lidl etc. waren in wenigen Fahrtminuten erreichbar.
Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt.
Ebenfalls sehr positiv zu erwähnen: Wir hatten ein Problem mit den Glühbirnen in der Sauna, diese waren defekt, wurden aber nach Meldung bei der Hausverwaltung noch am selben Tag gewechselt, das fanden wir sehr toll!! :-)

Wir waren von der Unterkunft total begeistert. Für die Hunde war der große Garten ein Paradies. Wir werden auf jeden Fall dieses Haus wieder buchen.
