We've been staying at the Aegean for over 35 years. My siblings and I came with our parents when we were children and now we all bring our own families. I love the first floor units because they are much larger than the second floor units. This one is beautifully decorated. The bunks in the hall are a nice touch and the beds were extremely comfortable.
When we first arrived, we noticed the front door of the unit totally open with a cleaning wagon out front. My sister's unit was ready, so we sat in their unit as we kept an eye on ours. Two hours went by and the front door was entirely open and no one went in or out. I was always under the impression that this is really not good for the AC units. Finally someone went in and finished cleaning and we were able to enter after check in time. The floor wasn't incredibly clean (when I took my shoes off, I could feel sand and dirt and we hadn't even been to the beach), and the kitchen had some food on the floor between the mat and the refrigerator. The master bedroom sliding door wasn't locked because the lock is broken (we later discovered a lock that was higher up the door that did work). The kitchen sink light was out (lightbulb dangling) and the garbage disposal was broken. I saw a business card on the fridge with a property manager's name so I called that. No one came. We managed to get by until I was cooking a day later and noticed the sink was backing up. I messaged through VRBO to make sure I had no accountability since I had already notified them of this when we arrived, and they said they were on it. I also called Dina (the name on the business card) who said, "Oh, I dropped the ball on this." REALLY??? You dropped the ball on YOUR JOB? I'm grateful that they were able to fix it and the problem was solved so that no damage would occur. I'm not critical or hard to please, but I do take really good care of the properties I visit and I do have some expectations in return.
The can opener was broken, the pots and pans were very worn and had the teflon falling off, the dryer wasn't working right, etc. I think the unit needs some love and attention for some of the minor things because clearly Dina isn't doing it.
Maybe this review is more detailed than most but I love the Aegean and like to take care of it. I really hope that a lot of these issues are management-related and these things can be fixed for the owners who are trusting these people and for future renters.

We had a great time! Condo is very roomy with lots of closets and drawers. Owner very easy to reach! Would stay here again. Convenient location to restaurants, drugstores and grocery store.
